Plastic Biodegrading Experiment #2 by YourEnchantedGardener .....

Started another Perf Go Green Trash Bag Demo yesterday. Soaking the trash bag for a month in rain water to start. Added some compost. I want to see how quickly this trash bag will biodegrade. This is an EPI Global bag. It is made to biodegrade in two years or less.

___

Started my second Plastic Trash Bag
Biodegrading Demo #2 yesterday.

Took another plastic bucket
and filled it with rain water.

Tore a large Perf Go Green Trash Bag
into pieces, a few small, most large portions
of the bag.

Took photos.

Then added a some compost.
I will name the brand later.
It was a bag I got at the World Environment Day Event
in 06.

Added some Biodynamic Peter's Powder--
biodynamic compost filtered by Peter Dukich.
About five tablespoons.

Put in a bit of my worm compost.

Covered it with a wooden top.

i plan to keep the bag soaking in the water for
at least a month, and then add more compost.

I want to see how long it takes for this to biodegrade.
