This needs work.
I worked over the other parts pretty well
for a good draft...

I did not have juice to go through this last part...

December 5, 08
6:46

I have been at the computer all day
unexpectedly.

I have been looking at materials on
my old computers that have been without
cords and other computers in the closet.

I am experimenting with transfering data.
Some of the old MS, I cannot transfer due to shifts
in technology.

I found a way to transfer a Plant Your Dream Manuscript
via the internet.

I thought this wokr would be published in a book.
This are repeating ideas I have expressed over the years.

This is the end part of this Manscript.

I reached a point where Part One would not accept any more
words.

This is the End Part....

Please respect a copywrite on this material.
Write me if you want to do anything with this work.
I would like to see it published in other forms than
this blog.

“My Journal should
be the record of my Love.
I would write in it only of the things I Love,
my affection for any aspect of the world, what I Love to think of.
I have no more distinctness or pointedness in my yearnings that an expanding bud, which does indeed point to flower
and fruit, to summer and autumn, but is aware
of the warm sun and spring influence only.
I feel ripe for something,
yet do nothing, can’t discover what that thing is.
I feel fertile merely. It is a seed time with me.
I have lain fallow long enough.”
--Thoreau, from his Journal, age 33

“In You, I see the flowers I love so much
in the garden, Nature has smiled on you
to make this world beautiful!”
--Leslie Goldman, Enchanted Gardener

Be Still and Know,
I am Your Mother Earth

I am your Mother Earth.
From this moment on, think of me everyday.
Say hello to me when you open your eyes.

I am your Mother Earth.
This is what I ask of you:

Know my plants, and lovely foods, animals,
and many kinds of different people
I made different on purpose
from my different kinds of holy foods.

I am your Mother Earth.
Plant me. Plant me green.
Plant trees upon me.
Plant trees upon me, and flowers,
and lovely foods that grow healthy children
and their mothers and fathers.
Plant beauty upon me,
extend beauty
by your very hands.
Get to know me through
giving my baby living herbs
a home in your life so I can teach you better
how to feel me, and love me
and I love you.
Get your fingers soiled in me
I am your Mother Earth.
Look out for me.
I'm looking out for you.
Let my little children teach you.
Watch how my children play.
Surround yourself
with children and grandparents.

Protect my forests,
and native peoples
who know my forests
and simple ways as their home.
Spend time each day being simple.

Know me silently,
and I will grant you courage and grace.
All your beautiful dreams will grow upon me.

Fill your life with compassion.
Most of all, know you are safe.
As you sleep tonight,
I fill you with inspiration.
I promise you forever a new dawn,
and miracles.

Rest well. Rest assured.
Rest forever in my arms.

Oh patient Mother Earth,
let us walk together more closely.
More now I accept your
fulfillment is a by-product
of my own deep and
fertile seed dreams flowering.
Remind me that all natural things
on earth grow from seeds
that touch soil, and so do I.
Open in me the wisdom contained
in a tiny seed that I might too experience
how dreams grow naturally.

Seed Dreams growing
in the Enchanted Garden

Let us Know your Seed Dreams!

Our success stems from the Seed Dreams we plant.
The Enchanted Garden is a name for the new earth growing through us.

Here are Three Enchanted Garden Projects:
1999:

1. “I’m a Friend of the Farm!”
“Happiness is Organic!”

Mutual health is enhanced through a personal relationship between us and our food growers; and growing some food. Help “Joe the Farmer” say “Happiness is organic!” because we each say “I’m a friend of the farm!” Our organic farmers are national treasures. We are exemplifying how the Rodriguez Family (760-749-0439),
San Diego-based local farmers, can be honored, sustained, and financially supported within our Southern California community. Our consumer education campaign intends to improve awareness of the Farmer’s markets and support other farmers as well, i.e, Get fruit from Steve White, (619-751-0805). We aim to empower sustainable agriculture in America to a new level through our actions. Our program invites you to touch soil with soul, interact with caring farmers, and create meaningful Kid activities to influence eating patterns. May empty harvests,
producing ill-suited food for growing whole people,
be past tense!

2. Loving Together ’98!

The Enchanted Garden Intentional Community, and Enchanted Garden Club,
San Diego, welcomes residents and guests. Call, 619-582-9669.

Pick tea, brew it, take a bath, feel a massage, make a salad, journal, simply BE.
Sniff aromas! Our aim is to create more sacred space for cooperative living,
and through writing, teaching, and cottage industries, to share what we learn.

With the high incidence of domestic violence,
divorce, and general dysfunction between people,
the idea of attempting to hold the space for a group of people
to live together is crazy,
yet vital if we are to truly live in a peaceful 21st century.
Living without community is catastrophic

Since 1982, Leslie Goldman
has lived in community in San Diego.
The great experiment continues...

3. Hallowing
the Wounded Healer:

Books, Healing Essence Photography, poetry, and greeting cards by Leslie Goldman record the growth of the Enchanted Garden/and Leslie Goldman's journey from crippling arthritis to wholeness. His creations, used by many healing arts practitioners worldwide, inspire the healing process.
We can make the most of our life, even permanent physical disability, through nature’s way!

“I plan to demonstrate further health improvement and inspire healthier government support for traditional medical models through my example.”
We can face the conditions that cripple us and make peace with them!
We can create a new millennium where no one feels homeless,
where wholeness walks the streets.“

“ Correct work is another vital key
to end human suffering.
Correct work acknowledges
the spirit of interdependence.
It suggests that we are each
on the board of directors
of a magnanimous corporation
called humanity whose highest option
is to see that each of its members
has the opportunity to liberate their inner
vision and step out in the world as a whole person
in charge of their power and self-determinism.
The correct work for each individual
in this corporation is discovering the song of life
within and singing that song loud and clear.
To sing our song is to recapture our dream.
There’s a dream we are each born to live
that’s tied in with the lessons
we learn for our peace of mind.”

Job's Tears: Planting the Seed
of Our Life's Fulfillment

Behold Job’s Tears!

In the palace of dreams,
in a vision of the world that can be,
and is already with a seed,
--the world named the Enchanted Garden--
I meet a wise gardener.
The gardener said,
“Behold, these beautiful and precious
boxes before you! Which do you choose?
This one is made of fine silver.
This one, covered with painted flowers,
is hand-made and comes from a far-off place?”

“These boxes have worth and value.”
the gardener said. “They are beautiful,
and coveted, but they will not
serve you as much as what is inside the box.
Can you guess what is in this box?”
I shook it. I heard a musical sound that intriqed me.
The Gardener said, “Gaze into this box.
Look how beautiful it is, yet
how pretty it is, this outer beauty
cannot compare to what is inside the box!”
The gardener said, “Open the box!” and I did.
Look at all these seeds inside.
They are the finest dreams of humanity,
here in the embodiment of these seeds.
“Please, take two seeds from the box!
They are yours. They cannot live in this box.
No matter what you do, or substitute,
something the world needs now
for its fulfillment, will be missing from the world
until you learn to plant this seed.
Plant a seed, and you will learn
how the earth, and all living things grow
on earth when the earth is growing naturally.”
The gardener said, “Sometimes, people are afraid to plant their deepest dreams in soil. Our dreams have been stepped on from time to time.
We are reticient to plant, and plant again.

We give up on our dreams. We make do with other things to make up for what is missing.
The deepest most heartfelt dreams of humanity
are in inside pretty boxes.
All that stands between peace in the world, is for enough of us to take our dreams out of the box!”
“Plant these seeds. Let them help you see again
how life grows!”
The gardener asked me to write down my dream. I was asked to keep a journal of what I learned from the experience of growing the seed. “What will grow
in your life as this seed grows into a full plant?
I planted my seed. The Harvest was great.
I learned many things about creation,
and I became myself an Enchanted Gardener.

And so, I pass these seeds along to you
with this little story that has been told
and retold before time began.
The story is yours.

I give you your dream back.
It cannot grow in a box.
Write down your intention.
These are your seeds.
Plant them,
and grow a whole new world.

Behold Job’s Tears!

My aspiration, my Intention,
my commitment, my inner work,
my patience,
my good work
--my tears--
have added up to this
a unique
Jewel-like seed that expresses me.
Look at this single seed, nature has made
to fulfill a purpose; and to sustain
the next generation!
The surface is firm, strong, shiny!
The insides are open at both ends
from top to bottom,
a resilient seed
available for stringing into a necklace
with other Jewel-like seeds.

Look what you have become!
All you have accomplished
has come to this--
a single seed,
again awaiting new planting!

What will the new season bring?
Imagine.

The Soil has been worked and prepared--
--The underground world of our being
addressed--
--The rocks have been tended,
some broken into dust to sustain
the new creation!

What Joy,
what harvest
will the world see next year,
because of me?

Through this new planting?
What will I, in community with others,
be celebrating
this time next year, from my renewed
intention, my fulfillment that inherently renews
a more peaceful world?

“Plant with Tears, reap with Joy!
from the Shir Hamalos

Seeds of ornamental Job's Tears are a special glass-like, naturally finished bead, created by mother earth with a prearranged hole for stringing.
As a ritual of renewal, recognize our life's journey--all the tears, the work, the learning, has grown into this--a beautiful, vibrant seed, again awaiting planting. To harvest and plant Job's Tears is to acknowledge our personal natural harvest of the previous year. To grow them is to express courage and rekindle faith that our deepest seed dreams will certainly emerge in the world.
Job's Tears are a multi-culturally appreciated seed. To grow them, is to bless and be blessed by the spirit of every culture that has appreciated them. In Asia, the young green seeds of coix lacryma-jobi are used for food.
According to folk history ornamental Job’s Tears have been used as rosary beads. Their cousin, Hato Mug, highly regarded in Macrobiotic cooking. are used as a natural preservative in popular health drinks. They are said in folk medicine to be a preventative against degenerative illnesses.
Job's Tears are easy to grow in a pot of good soil, even on a balcony, where sunlight is available. In colder climates, grow indoors. They prefer an outdoor spot and will grow perennially, five feet tall or more. They like lots of water, and room between plants. Job's Tears come into harvest in early Fall. some time in September. In late Fall, the bamboo-like leaves die back. They can be used in winter arrangements. Cut the leaves, but do not pull the roots. Keep watering them. They will come back and spread.

Wheat Seeds...Helping to Grow a Loaf of Bread

I know an Orthodox Rabbi who once lived in my neighborhood.
He was kind and friendly. I attended a dinner at the synagogue.
I was stunned by the poor quality of the food, especially the bread. I heard blessing on this bread; yet how much blessing was in the bread itself?
I did not know what to do with my feelings.
I happened to have some wheat seeds.
To increase nutritional awareness,
I promised I would grow him a “Challah,” a loaf of bread.
The day of the first year’s harvest, he came over and helped me separate the wheat from the chaff.
I saw a little boy come out, and more.
Deep meanings in the Holy Books took on great new insight for him.
Nature references became clear. Please grow and send back some
wheat seeds from your crop. Let me know what you learn...

Your Friend,
Leslie

Leslie, Your materials, your verse on Winter
and your relationship with natural healing opens my heart
and touches me.
I think I can learn, and my patients can learn form your metaphysical use of plants and the natural rhythms of earth, seasons, and plant growth. Our relationship with plants can help us to learn to nurture ourselves.
