In this process of discovering information about adrenal fatigue, I keep hearing about Neurotransmitters. I thought I would post a brief note for you all as there is so much depth to this all, I personally keep losing track. So to start small and brief:
There are four brain chemicals that actually create our moods. They are:
1. Seratonin, which helps stabilize our moods, promotes sleep and helps focus the mind
2. Endorphin, which works as our natural painkiller
3. Dopamine/Norepinephrine, which energizes us
4. GABA (gamma amino butyric acid), which is our sedative
These neurotransmitters are made of amino acids. The eight essential aminos are:
Lysine
Phenylalanine
Leucine
Threonine
Isoleucine
Tryptophan
Methionine Histadine
Valine
I derived this little summary from the Diet Cure by Julia Ross.
