[ The TRIUMPH OF THE AGES,
this PLANT YOUR DREAM BLOG,

That Blog has the Preliminary Info and Story. ]

The Church Bells Ring!
We did it!

I was not sure it could be Accomplished.

It was a Herculean Task!

I was not sure I would ever see it in this Lifetime.

It was weighting me down.

It was weighting down a lot of us who
live here at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community.

We did it!

We Cleared out the Basement!

There were years of rot in there.
There were years of Clutter in there.
There was stuff in there we Knew Not,
and things I could feel, but did not want to
address too deeply: Ghosts.

I could feel her often.
She was an Old Woman,
some kind of Witch.

There was also come kind of Ogre,
who worked with her.

The Witch seldom came out of the basement,
but the Ogre would come out of the Basement
and follow me at times as far as the Steps
up the side of the House that lead to the kitchen.

If the Witch got to me, I was vulnerable to the Ogre.
It was my Fear that breathed life into him.

He would follow me at times to those stairs.

I tripped numbers of times going up those stairs.
Others tripped there too, including once
Eve's dad.

It was only by Grace that I did my Crack my Head in two
falling on those stairs.

Once I tripped and my shoulder caught right at the corner
between the House and the Garage. My head brushed up against the side of the house.
My shoulder stopped me. If I were about 1/4 inch over to the left,
my head would have smashed against the wall rather than pass
into the Open Space around the corner. I stopped to reflect how
Protected I was. My shoulder stopped me from falling totally.
My neck is fused. There would have been no way for it to bend.

I hope you get the Picture.
As you enter the backyard, you pass through an opening
between the Basement and the Garage down some stairs
that are Odd in Depth. I will take some photos to better
show you the Angle, and what I mean.

Between the stairs and the door to the Basement,
there is an Amazing Accummulation of Stagnant Energy.
This was once the Area formerly called the Downstairs Kitchen.

At one point before the fire we had numbers of gardeners
tenting here. They would eat at the Downstairs Kitchen
where Brian's Old Stove was use to cook and heat water.

That was before H moved in.
She was convinced that the stove was a fire hazard.
I had the Randy the Stove Man Fix that stove and Calibrate
the Fire Height, but H's sensitivity won out. We have not used
Brian's Old Stove since, other,
other than as a place to Heap Clutter, old boxes of Food, and
Unclear Thoughts.

That area of the Old Down Stairs Kitchen...that is where the Ogre
lies in hiding.

Now the Witch in the Basement...she just loves to get the best of me.
She loves dark nights.

Sometimes, I would go into the Basement after dark to get to the Laundry.

As I turned and walked passed Ben Dixon's picture, the Witch would come up
after me in the dark. I could feel her. I took it as a barameter of how secure
I was feeling in myself. There were times when I felt strong. She could not
touch me. Other times, my fear got the best of me. I left the Basement in a Flurry
wanting to get out of there. She was at my back. That was when I ignited the Ogre.

For years, I thought of Clearing the Basement.

It was just a Pipe Dream, until Chef Jem came to live here.

He took it on, with the Help of Scottie.

ParisBingo was a source of inspiration through his accessment
of how dense and dark the energy, but Paris never got into the
Dirt of it too much. He retreated to other Battles on the property,
and then escaped in the Fall to go sing for the Pope and bury
Job's Tears at the grave of Saint Frances. Eve, she too, escaped
for give weeks. She joined Paris at Assisi, and then went to Portugal
where she became enamoured with making Bread in the Old Way.

2.

It was left to the Son of Truth, and the Knight Errand Scottie of the Dome.
They took it out. Scottie only has so much Stamina for such things.
He is more the Pleadian Fly by Night. Sometimes I do not hear him for days,
but he dedicated his life to the Cleanup of the Basement for months.

For me, I saw the basment as a Challenge equal to a Herculean Task.
Wasn't it Hercules who cleaned the stables of all that Crap????

There is no need to point fingers here.

I had a mass of my own stuff down here.

I took it on last summer for more than one month, before
succumbing to other Clutter Tasks up in LA when my Father's Apartment
caught Fire. All that story is on this Blog.

Last summer, we make significant progress,
but A#1 areas were not touched too deeply.

This time, Chef Jem of the Kefir Grass and Honorable Scottie of the Dome (HSD)
actually got 90%-100% of the Basement Clear.

I do not know where the Witch went. Likely into the Black Mold, or down into
the Micro Buglife that bites mainly me.

Clearing the Basement!

This morning I want to Reflect on the Triumph of the Ages!
I want Celebrate it Soundly this Birthday Season!

We literally and actually Cleared the Basement.

When we set out to do this, I was not thinking way ahead.
No one was. We each had our motivations.

Chef Jem was wanting a Safe and Clean Place to bring down
his Possessions from Grass Valley. I was willing to Trade with him,
his dedicated Hours for the equivalent of the rent on Space
in the Brightest Corner of the Basement.

Scottie, I believe in part he took on the Basement because,
he like Don Quixote, like to Take on Impossible Dreams.
He also loves Team Play. Working along side the Great Chef Jem
is an Honor. This was a act of Brotherly Adoration. This was an Act
equal to Two Brothers going into Battle.

So here we are: We Cleared the Space.

Amen.

No one Stopped to fully think out the Next Steps.
I did not. For sure A#1 did not. She did her best to Cooperate,
not Bless her! She did help get her Stuff out of the Basement.

No one Imagined how much of it there was.

It is a Triumph to Clutter, as much as Clearing the Basement
was a Triumph of the Ages.

Now What???????

We are in Phase Two.
What do we do with the Stuff...??????
and how do we address having too much Stuff
weighing down our Colective Destiny?

It is time to get ready for the Hillcrest Farmers' Market (FM).

I was not there last Sunday.
I want to go early.

I will return to more of this Story in due time.

8:30 AM

There are a few loose ends from last week,
I want to Blog on other subjects before I go to the
FM.
