I went to visit The Son of Truth Website last night.
My housemate Chef Jem, one of the heroes in my life,
had written a blog on The Great Earth Cleanup
now in progress here at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community
in San DIego.
I also spent time following the links Re:
Where was Obama Born.
I am sure more will come out on this in the coming weeks.
Here is one Web Site I would like to recommend.
It has numbers of Blogs I saw that point out
where some of Obama's calculations are off
regarding how much his programs will cost.
It also Fact Checks stuff on many other subjects
on both sides of the aisle.
Here is the Fact Check on where Obama was born:
http://wire.factcheck.org/
It’s Official: Obama “Born in the U.S.A.”
Of all the nutty rumors, baseless conspiracy theories and sheer disinformation that we’ve dealt with at FactCheck.org during campaign 2008, perhaps the goofiest is the claim that Barack Obama is not a “natural-born citizen” and therefore not eligible to be president under the constitution.
This claim was first advanced by diehard Hillary Clinton supporters as her campaign for the party’s nomination faded, and has enjoyed a revival among John McCain’s partisans as he fell substantially behind Obama in public opinion polls. There has never been anything but rumor and speculation to support such a claim, and zero hard evidence. When Obama produced a “certificate of live birth” from the state of Hawai, doubters simply claimed it was forged and continued to huff and puff. Lawsuits were filed (and dismissed). Blogs blogged on. Our own “Born in the U.S.A” article, showing close-up photos of the document complete with official signature and raised seal, got more page views than any other article this week, even though we posted it back in August. It is a document that would satisfy the State Department’s requirements for proof of citizenship for purposes of getting a passport. But not, of course, those who wish to believe otherwise, whatever the evidence.
Now, there is even less reason to doubt that Obama was born when and where he has always said. We posted this update to our Born in the U.S.A article:
Update, Nov. 1: The director of Hawaii’s Department of Health confirmed Oct. 31 that Obama was born in Honolulu. . . . The Associated Press quoted Chiyome Fukino as saying that both she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama’s original birth certificate.
Fukino also was quoted by several other news organizations. The Honolulu Advertiser quoted Fukino as saying the agency had been bombarded by requests, and that the registrar of statistics had even been called in at home in the middle of the night.
Honolulu Advertiser, Nov. 1 2008: “This has gotten ridiculous,” state health director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said yesterday. “There are plenty of other, important things to focus on, like the economy, taxes, energy.” . . . Will this be enough to quiet the doubters? “I hope so,” Fukino said. “We need to get some work done.”
We say, “amen” to that. You can take it from Hawaii’s officials: Obama was born in the U.S.A.
THIS ARTICLE has some interesting info
about the actual Birth Certificate that was called
a fake, as well as a note in a honalulu newspaper
dated August 13, 1961 announcing the birth
of the child:

Hi, I’ve talked to the Department of Vital Records and the Honolulu Advertiser. In 1961, the hospitals would take their new birth certificates to Vital Records. At the end of the week, Vital Records would post a sheet that for the news paper to pick up that contained births, deaths, marriages and divorces. The Advertiser routinely printed this information in their Sunday edition. This is not a paid announcement that his grandmother could arrange. This is information that comes from Vital Records - we know this because this particular section reflects those records. They didn’t have a provision for paid, one sentence announcement that would be included in the Vital Records. At the time, if a child was born outside a hospital, the family would have 30 days to apply for a birth certificate and Vital Records would expect to see prenatal care records, or pediatrician records of the first check up, etc. They’d also want the notarized statement from the mid-wife. Of course, they can apply later but that would noted as a different kind of birth certificate. I think TD has already addressed that. This information was received by Vital Records the first week of his birth = that suggests the hospital.
Next, the announcement is from Sunday, August 13th and Obama was born on Friday, August 4th. Hospitals usually don’t take birth certificate information the first couple days to avoid changes. So it was likely filled out on the 4th or so, as hospital stays were usually 3 - 5 days at the time. Lastly, having worked in a newborn nursery in college, hospitals don’t ask for documentation. If mom says she’s married, that’s what they write. They have no authority to question her statement.
In Honolulu at the time, paid birth announcements weren’t in vogue. Frequently families would post one year announcements that included pictures from the party, etc. I haven’t checked to see if that exists.
I hope that finishes clearing this up.

The “story”, as reported by WND, is that Ms. Obama telephoned a news agency to complain that they were disseminating stories written by Jerome Corsi, a WND editor and author of the hilariously debunked anti-Obama tract “The Obama Nation” (and prior to that, an anti-Kerry swiftboat attack), and that Corsi was a “racist”. WND uses the “story” to plug the book, with a direct link for purchase. (Note - credible sources of journalism leave a very thick firewall between their news service and any commercial products.)

Their home page features a hideously amateurish series of photos of “African” looking people, with the caption “Our News Team”. No-one is identified. None of the click-through ID links work. Readers are invited to register to become “Corresspondents” (sic).
No editorial board is named. Only one actual name is cited: their “”CHIEF EDITOR KORIR”, who ” IS A MEMBER OF INVESTIGATIVE REPORTERS AND EDITORS INTERNATIONAL.”
A review of their archives reviews a curious, patched together assortment of press clippings and releases on various topics. However, their top and ongoing American news story is anti-Obama coverage that essentially reproduces, uncritically, most of the major smears promulgated over the last year.

Now for the naysayers, don't you think that The Powers That Be check into these things too before someone runs for President of the United States? I mean come on now, how long has Mr. Barack Obama been a senator?
Don't you think that if it was that easy to misrepresent yourself on your birth certificate that we'd have every Tom, Dick and Harry running for positions in high places???

Some Obama critics claim he was not born in the United States.
Multiple lawsuits were filed to try and force Obama to provide proof of citizenship.
Earlier Friday, a southwest Ohio magistrate rejected a challenge to Obama's U.S. citizenship.
Judges in Seattle and Philadelphia recently dismissed similar suits.

To be honest with you, I voted for Mcpalin,
BO scares me to death, I just am sick of folks
posting here on the false hopes of tapes that don’t exsist.
People need to focus energy on other ways to make others aware,
this is a scam to take away said time and energy to do that.
