How do I outline a font, so kids can draw in it?????
There is another way to outline in PS Elements. First, select the object you want to outline. If it's text, hold down Ctrl and click on the text layer you're wanting to affect in the layers box. This will select around the text (will work with other shapes also). Then, click on Edit in the toolbar and then Stroke (outdated term for outline). Now you can set the outline thickness and color. Click OK and you have your outline!
The lack of control over layer styles in Elements is probably one of the biggest frustrations, but I'm still thrilled with how much of PS they put into Elements.
