Anticipation of healing with Dutch daughter's upcoming visit

The truth is this is a time of healing.

The current changes referred to recent eclipses and other signs in the "cosmic scriipt" speak in terms of endings and new beginnings, however these terms do not adequately express the depth of change that healing requires. Whether we like it or not changes are virtually constant now on our little planet, but healing requires the willingness to let go of hurts and hurting; pain and suffering.

I have a daughter whom was born out of the country and whom I have only seen on four brief occasions during her childhood. She is now a young lady and visiting here for the first time as an adult. She has grown up essentially without a father (as I am a natural born American who has have never had a "calling" or interest to live in the Netherlands). My daughter's conception happened in America during her mother's visit and after her mother knew she was pregnant she returned home to Amsterdam.
I honestly can not imagine what her experience has been growing up without a father as there has never any communication about that over the years.

Now my daughter says she has a letter to write me that she has been putting off for years and which she will write soon since she is going to be seeing me in a few days. The idea of my getting this letter is rather exciting in a uniquely stressful kind of way! I imagine that this will be a letter of truth-telling. Maybe I will begin to hear what her experience has been not having me in her life. I ask my higher self to help me be open to hearing what she has to say. Some one suggested I have a bottle of rescue remedy close by during my reading. (I know EFT and will use it as needed.) I know that the truth is not always beautiful and this seems to be one of those times when the truth needs to be told no matter how long it has been resisted! I am choosing to listen with compassion to the very best of my ability.

So far what I know is that my daughter choose me, as well as her Dutch-born mother who gave birth to our daughter in Amsterdam. I am looking forward to seeing my daughter. It seems we have a lot of catch-up before us. My attitude right now is that she can write me anything she wants and I will read it with all the right presence of mind and open heart that I am capable of. If I feel triggered by anything I will take responsibility and care of my own triggered emotions.

I'm expecting this "letter" any time within the next couple days. I'm glad I have started to note this and very likely will continue to record updates.

Some months ago (over a year) my father had written to me saying I could address anything I wanted to with him. This came after my doctor had suggested that I tell the truth about a childhood injury I received from him that may have damaged DNA at a location where I was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma. Just to have the complete open invitation was enough for me to let go of having to express details to him. That's the kind of openness I want my daughter to know she has with me. Now I am all the more grateful for what my father offered me as I can genuinely share that with my daughter. I believe that whatever "injury" or hurt that my daughter may have experienced can be healed through allowing it to be expressed, acknowledged and loved to the best of our ability and with the help of the creator!

When I am healed I am not healed alone!
