Thursday, August 21, 2008 Day 4 of water fast
a.m. weight 201.4
I woke up around 6:00 a.m. to go to the restroom. No bm yet. My stomach is
gurgling a bit, so I think something is coming around the bend. I was thinking
about starting a MC today but decided I want to make to day 7 on the water fast. I
feel good this morning and the weight is dropping at a 3 lbs. day clip so I'd like
to see if I can make to 192-195 by Sunday evening. So far since Sunday evening, I
have lost 10.6 lbs. I am down a 1/2 inch on my waist and 1 inch on my gut. Would
like to workout this morning by doing 45 minutes on the eliptical and maybe 20
minutes in the sauna.
Went to the gym and did 45 minutes on the eliptical trainer and then 30 minutes in
the dry sauna. I kept my heart rate low during the cardio but still worked up a
good sweat. Later I went to the mall with the kids and saw a movie. Came home
and drank some smooth move and watched the Olympics. It has already kicked in.
I had by my most intense dizzy spell about 30 minutes ago when I go up from bed to
use the restroom. I almost felt as if I was going to black out. I need to take the
time to sit on the edge of the bed for a bit before I stand up. I am glad I
haven't felt dizzy in public while walking around or when I have been working out
at the gym. It would be kind of embarrassing to pass out in public.
I haven't really had any hunger pains. I might of felt a few this afternoon at the
mall but drinking cold water seemed to help. I noticed my sense of smell is
heightened again, similar to when I was juice fasting. I can smell perfumes from
20 ft away and some people's body odor from a few feet away. After working out, I
can't stand the way I smell. I have to shower immediately. It's getting late.
Will check in tomorrow.
