Crisis here since our last house meeting.
Resolution started to come in this morning in
a Revelatory and Clarifying dream.
I have been on the Run,
running as fast as possible.
Just catching The Next Train to the next event
so to speak by an inch and a miliseconds.
Pardon the mixed metaphor, but this is no way
to run an airline.
The Ultimate affront last night:
I was walking with Twin Soul/Best Friend in the garden
in at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community.
We were checking out changes in The Goddess Grove.
This has been a Sacred Space for her. She enjoyed putting up her
tent here.
I have not been paying attention too closely to new construction
and digging in The Goddess Grove. Changes are going on.
A pick and shovel on view hurt her feelings. The loss of a layer
of mulched fallen leaves had been her softness. Now the ground
is dug into. There is less of a sense of naturalness, less of a sense
of a round natural circle of lumber bamboo.
She has a different point of view on what she considered
a Sacred Site here on our property
not far from San Diego State University.
There was once a man who came here a few days after
the World Peace Celebration that we did in Starlight Bowl
Balboa Park. He would sit on the ground and pray before he
made earth changes.
He did some rituals. A few days later, fox showed up.
There remained for more than seven years. We would see them
on occasion running up the driveway. We would see them in
front of the house, then they disappeared.
It is not an easy task getting a new House Mate here.
It is more than filling out ads and interviewing strangers.
There is definite pressure to rent. There is definitely emotional feelings
that come up. There are already people living here.
The new person needs to be a fit.
This morning I am being reminded of some of the Pre-Requisites of the Fit
at a time, when I would prefer to be turning my attention on Clearing and Cleansing.
This is Edible Week in San Diego. I have not attended any of the events yet.
I ran off about 25 of the old ads the other day. I can't find them.
I may have to run them off again at College Postal Express.
I thought to make up a new ad yesterday that featured KEEP the BEET Media Star.
We have definitely lost the beat around here in numbers of very essential ways.
The beet means keeping the beat with nature.
Maybe the new ad needs to say that.
Live where you can KEEP the BEET with Nature.
How dare I say that????
Our Garden is entirely overgrown now.
There is intense negliect. No one has been loving out there.
The person in The Little Room is a person who wants to Garden.
My Last two choices for the Little Room have been a bust.
Both were closen for their Gardening Enthusiasm.
Both really never got into the garden to the extent that I had hoped.
My last housemate for The Little Room was only in the space for two months.
She came all the way from New Jersey. She thought this was the place to live
while attending Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
A few days before committing to move here, she discovered another school
up in Los Angeles. Here whole two months were about was she going to live here
or live there? I would have been better off nailing our committment down right from the
start.
I was too busy exploring giving energy to other parts of my life.
I never nailed it down.
Frank, the housemate before her, was equally enthusiastic about gardening.
We were in touch for a number of months before he moved in.
He never gardened. He was in the Navy. Soon after he moved in,
the Navy began to intercede in his Gardening time. He was deployed to the Middle East.
Wow!
Who will our next housemate be in The LITTLE ROOM?
I Better start with remember the basics,
at a time when the Mission and Purpose is
a question in the mind of some who live here.
Last night, Twin Soul/Best Friend and I went out to visit The
Goddess Grove. I wanted to hold tight to a healthy piece of lumber
bamboo. She had been pointing out that a number of the bamboo
where feeling dead from drought. This is a season when new bamboo
are coming up as well. That showed itself.
Then, we went looking for another place for her to dig her
pup tent into the ground.
We went down to the Essene Area.
This is another Sacred Site on this property,
a perfect place to Meditate.
I invested about 24 hours in cleanup with our new housemate.
I had let her prep this area as a study place, rather than work in the
garden now overgrown.
There was a can of Raid ant killer, an empty container,
sitting on one of the old cement tables.
That was the Ultimate statement of lost vision,
and now I am remembering a plant on the back porch.
Another Housemate has been using Miracle Gro,
a product for force feeding plants.
I had let it slide.
Now I am in a mush of sliding Vision.
Time to Remember.
Time to Prepare for Fall
as I weed my room and the Basement.
Time to decide clearly what stays and what goes.
