I was with Mark Victor Hansen yesteday
at his Weathy Writers Seminar.
I made three copies of a calendar
in July 08. I mailed two of them.
When I showed him my copy of
the Calendar yesterday, he said
he had never seen it.
I sent along a proposal when I mailed
the Calendar. I had something in in mind.
I saw this Artwork coming out.
This project is still in the can.
One 24 x36 hangs in the dining room
of the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community
Growing Grounds in San Diego.
Tnere are two 24 x36 of photos
hanging at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
I never followed through with this one
going on. i felt the energy of this Seed Dream
needed more time to evolve.
This is a revision.
I may create Greeting Cards when my
schedule opens up again.

Had a harrowing and body depleting experience yesterday
down at Staples in the College Grove Shopping Center.
Spent a number of hours in front of a Hewlett Packard
Gismo creating two three one of a kind Calendars inspired by Mark Victor Hansen
and his request for two sets of photos from the 1994 American Booksellers
Association (ABA) night when I was the photographer an event that was
celebrating Health Communication Inc books including the first edition of
CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL. The book
was issued in 1993.
I have to make some corrections this morning in the calendar.
SEEDING OUR DREAMS is a name of the artwork that was born out of doing this Calendar
project. We have a lettuce going to seed in our garden here at the Enchanted Garden Intentional
Community in San Diego. I took pictures of the seed Friday July 19.
I have not been in the garden very much lately. The experience was a reseeding of my own
garden energies as well as a reseeding of success for the CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL series
that is not changing publishers. There appears to be a need for harmony now among the creators
of this series that has been loved by so many people.
Above is the Promo piece I created for the new Art named SEEDING OUR DREAM.
On Saturday morning, a few days ago, I sent this artwork with a proposal to my ally
Jack Miller, president of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. He O.K.ed it for the inside
front cover of the upcoming Pacific Sumposium Handbook.
I had the Sunflower image here on the inside front cover of last year's Pacific Symposium
Handbook. That was a thrill.
The gameplan will be to gift the #1 signed and dated copy of a 24 x36 for hanging at the school.
Their will be a plaque with the names of sponsors.
Last year, I had three sponsors for the Sunflower image. This year there will be more.
I will share funds from sponsors with the Pacific College.
I would like their share of the funds to go to seeding the CSA project at the campus.
Maria Lopez has been helping me stir up interest in the Joe Rodriguez Jr. CSA down there
at the school. Yah!

was published, Leslie took
this and other Health
Communication Inc (HCI)
books to a stream and
blessed their success.

are lettuce, of the same plant
variety, he brought to Mark in
in 1994. ”Lettuce Grow Together""
in the intent
embodied in the seed.
The original lettuce seed
was called Abraham’s
New Seed. It was dedicated
to peace between the three religions seeded by Abraham. #1, signed
and dated by Leslie, is a gift from sponsors to the Pacific College
of Oriental Medicine in San Diego. It will appear in the inside front
