Licenseing Art?

DId I hear that right???

It woke me up.

Very stressful and disturbing day yestreay.

Ran into an Energetic Glitch
while atempting to bring the New Year at a Glance 2020
Calendar into form.

The Calendar was inspired by 1994 photos that were
taken at the HCI/NAPRA party at the ABA for the
new authors of HCI books.

When I saw Mark at Authors 101, Rick Frishman's
event on the firwt day of BEA, I was wanting ot figure
out a way to recoup the 4460.00 or more I paid out
to see him.

I could not figure out how to get a scholarship to this event
so I paid the money.

I wanted to see Mark on neutral territory.
That is another story.

I brought some of the 3 1/2 x 5 inch prints from that role.

Mark wanted two sets.

He was willing to pay $400.00, in part realizing that
I could use the funds.

I do not have an ongoing communication with Mark.
I have not had a direct way to get messages to him.
Maybe that picture has changed now that his has a new
Chief of Staff. We got along spendidly at Author 101.

Some good came out of the Glitch I ran into yesterday.

It brought to the surface some distrubing energies inside me
and possibly with the project.

The two albums Mark ordered turned into a Calendar concept.

More I looked more closely at those 1994 photos, I realized
there were really not that many photos that were spectacular...
really just about two, and then about three more that I would call
good or better at most.

It did not seem that putting them in an album and charging $200.00 each
was the way to go.

I did not know what to do for about 24 hours.

My first job was having fromex transfer the old negative firlm to digital.

This was $150.00 each and $5.00 for two of the best ones.

That bill came to around $60.00 guestamate.

Then I went ahead and printed two sets of the three best photos
in 8 x 10.

That cost about $22.00.

Numbers of these photos were of other authors. I did not think
they really were photos Mark would highly prize.

That was went I went down to Staples.

I discovered they had a wonderful HP tool that can make not only albums
but Calendars.

I had originally planted a Seed Dream for the success of the CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL
series.

Then, I saw a set of Goals that Mark had printed.
It called for the sale of One Billion CHICKEN SOUL FOR THE SOUL SOLD by 2020.
So that was the concept.

This was going to be a Calendar for 2020.
The front cover:

One Billion Chicken Soup for the Soul Sold!

{ Can I make the title italics?????]

I spent Friday and Saturday till around 2 PM
pulling different photos from various ABA and BEA events together.
I also included photos that I had taken at some MEGA events
taht Mark did.

That in itself was a healing!!!!!

I was amazed.
Why was I amazed?
That also is a diferent story!!!!

So wnat may have been involved in the energy glitch of yesterday?

First off, my insecurity started to come up.
Was this a creative project that Mark was going to appreciate?

Now I get a YES.
There is also a time element.
One of the calendars is time sensitive.
It has a deadline.

I will explain later.

Another Glitch:
I knew that CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL was sold
when I talked to Peter at BEA. I knew sadly that the new owners
and HCI were not communicating very well.

Yesterday, a few days after the Calendar idea was born,
I discovered a news artilce that indicated that some of the
people in the calendar were fighting it out in court!

Please.

Licensing?

Another upset.

On Friday, when I was empowering the Spiritual energy behind
the Original Intent of the Seed Dream, the Success of the CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL
books, a new piece of marvelous art was inspired.

It is called SEEDING OUR DREAMS.

It is inspired by some words Mark sent me in a thank you card.
He was thanking me for Seeding the dream for CHICKEN SOUP.

So, here I have this new piece of Art.
It is beautiful.

It has already been approved to go in the inside front cover of the
Pacific Symposium Handbook, just as the Sunflower image of last year.

Great!

Keep the Beet is up in arms!!!!!!
The Sunflower Image is up in arms!!!!

That is why my life is a mess.

I go into these heightened states of creativity.
Then, something new and beautiful comes through.
I create the art.

Then it sits.
sits.
sits.
It becomes clutter.

What to do????

License the various art and other projects.

The Sunflower piece is intended to go into hospitals.
I have the 24 x 36 hanging at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.

A 24 x 36 also went to Papa Norman of Kopali Organics,
to Lynn Gordon of the French Meadow Bakery,
and to Katie Fisher of the Hawaii Healing Garden.
Oh, one also went to Robb and Kim Howard of TID Health.

I want to see this Sunflower Art in Hospitals.

There was an opening to get it into Saint Joseph's Hospital in Georgia.
That came out of BIO.
I made some friends with a two great new allies at St. Josephs Hospital.

I do not have time to pursue hat project.

I just got a call from Tiffany at Kellogg and Andelson's yesterday.
That is the Accountaincy Firm where Lee Forman is involved.
He is one of the founders. They do my taxes.

I have a Sales Tax report due by the end of the month.
I haven't completed on my taxes for last year.

Oops.

August?

Clean up time here.

Calendar complettion?

Taking longer than expected.

The rest of the week?

Sales Taxes.

Marilyn Peterson writing?

Weekend?

Climate Change Conference in LA????
Not much of a chance right now to do that.

Staying at Home?
I want too stay at home.

Licensing?

Yes.

Mark does it.

Who wants to run with the sunflower cottage industry?

There is more to that story than just the photo.

I will tell that story later.

Keep the Beet. This is her time.

SEEDING OUR DREAMS????

Another project....totally.
