July 28th begin five weeks of classes on the Four Agreements at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community

Dear House-mates,

The following is a reply (that I'm forwarding you all) from Jamal Dean (who is a friend of Leslie's) who is scheduled to come to share his spiritual understandings in relation to the work of Don Miguel Ruiz, author of "The Four Agreements". He intends to come with his svaroopa yoga instructor: Lakshmi Grace who "also studied with Miguel for about 15 years". My original inquiry to Jamal immediately follows his reply

"... I would like to meet at your house because I have known Leslie for about 10 years. I met him at the farmers market in Hillcrest. I have been to Leslie's house during some of his events. And from the years that I have known Leslie I have met many of his house mates. Leslie is growing in spiritual consciousness, and the people around him are reflecting or experiencing the same unfoldment in their lives too. So the energy at your place would be very supportive of spiritual growth and awareness. And there is a powerful spiritual transformation that is taking place on planet Earth right now. And I am very excited about my own spiritual growth, and the spirit inside me is directing me to help or support others with their spiritual growth as well.

Ten years ago the spiritual unfoldment began inside me. And I didn't know anyone who was having the same experience until I met Sherill East at the farmers market. Sherill became a good friend and what I would call my spiritual mentor. He was very advanced spiritually compared to me. And during that time, I use to feel like a person all along on a desert simetimes because non of my old friends were experiencing the same kind of spiritual unfoldment. And when I spoke to them about my experience, they didn't understand. And some thought that I was on the wrong path. And now it has been about 3 years since my friend Sherill decided to leave this physical dimension, and now I feel like an adult that has grown up from childhood spiritually speaking. And now I am aware of what it feels like to be consciously present in my body and to be still inside, in the here and now. And I no longer feel like I am on a desert all by myself. I have met other people who are experiencing the shift in consciousness too.

So, I want to help support the people who are just starting on the spiritual path because I can relate to them. And I want to bring people together like yourself to support the universal shift in consciousness too. And of course, you can also help by sharing your spiritual experiences including your experiences with The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. And my svaroopa yoga instructor, Lakshmi Grace, also studied with Miguel for about 15 years. And what she has to share may give us an even greater insight of his teachings from her perspective. So I invite you and everyone at your house to attend if you guys approve of this Spiritual Meeting In Oneness at your place.

Greetings Jamal,

"Leslie forwarded your e-mail to a number of us in the household here and also encouraged me to contact you.

I am interested in knowing more about your visit here and what you would like to accomplish here in our house hold. I have read "The Four Agreements". I was so taken with that work that I highly recommended it to others! Both my father and my brother have read the book as well. I am actively living those four agreements. Something that has been largely workable for me because i had already seen the importance of most of what this work says. The agreement on not taking things personally has probably been my biggest challenge and nothing I can't grow from (as I do my best to learn from that! ;^).

I would like to know how you know Leslie. Have you been introduced to any of the other ones in this house hold? Please share what brings you to want to meet here and how this relates to the rest of the household.
