Dr. Ralf Cord-Ruwisch of Murdoch University
visits the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community
on Friday, the afternoon following BIO, the Biotechnology Industry Organization
International meetingheld at the San Diego Convention Center June 17-18-19-20.
Dr Cord-Ruwisch is looking at a tree that is native to his homeland of Western Australia.
Dr. Cord-Ruwisch was drawn to Western Australia to study
with Bill Mollison, the creator of Permaculture.
Permaculture is one of the schools at Murdoch University.
They also feature numbers of other departments,
including Biotechnology oriented researches.
In his position as Director of the Centre for Organic Waste Management,
he interacts with faculty from the other
departments. Coming from his Scientific point of view
and yet grounded in Plant knowledge,
he and the other faculty from other departments
have some lively discussions.

Meeting Dr. Ralf was one of the highlights
of my very positive experience last
week at BIO,
the Biotechnology Industry Organization
annual meeting at the San Diego Convention Center,
June 17-20.
