Robert Tengrove, Director of Separation Science Laboratory at Murdoch Univesity West Australia is doing some very interesing work testing Synthetic Black Bear Bile. Western Australia is funding alternative healing practices research and Robert is going for some of this funding.

Spent some delightful time with
Robert Trengove, Assistant Professor
at Murdoch University Western Australia.

Robert is having his students Murdoch do
some tests to determine the health value of
synthetic Black Bear Bile intended to substitute
for real Black Bear Bile that is often sold on the black market.

Black Bear Bile is said in Chinese Medicine to be of use
to Kidney Health. I ran into this issue at the Pacific Symposium
last year. There were efforts to point out the cruelty down to
Black Bears in pursuit of their body parts.

The American Black Bear is said to be the most sought after
for Bile.

Robert told me he is applying for grants from the Governor
of Australia. They are studying the efficacy of various Alternative Healing Arts Practices.
Robert is doing some grant writing to study some of these Alternatives.

The team from Murdoch is doing some very interesting environmental work
to turn waste into electricity. The work involves taking pollutants out of water
as well, according to Ralf-Cord Ruwisch.

We spend about twenty minutes waiting in line for a shuttle to the USS Midway.
It was time well spent.

There appear to be many positive uses of Biotech research.

Robert understood what I was talking about the way I intended
the word organically grown.

Ms Lemon Verbena enjoyed the conversation very much.
She was a big hit on the USS Midway, and had to pass
four Security checks from San Diego Police, FBi, CIA,
to Homeland Security Inspectors
to get clearance to go on the ship.
I am just guessing about what agencies
the Security represented, but it was quite
an entrance for Your Enchanted Gardener.

The effort to get her on board was worth
the effort. William from the FDA and his wife Anita
enjoyed her very much, as did some delightful women
from France.

It was the first time a Lemon Verbena has been on board
no doubt.
