Who do I talk to about the weather?! by #97782 .....

This time...

It's cold out today. Come on already! Yesterday after work I went out with some ladies to dinner. Why people always want to eat is beyond me...nevertheless, I accepted the invitation and we met at a deli. I had checked out the menu before hand and ordered herb tea, chicken broth, and vegetable soup. I strained out 99.8% of the vegetables and added vitamineral green to the broth. This turned the broth from yellow to a deep dark green and received a comment of ewww...from one of the ladies. Their food looked good and so did everyone else's I saw for that matter. I pictured myself eating a little from everyone's plate (whether I knew them or not-LOL) It was a bit torturous being around all that food, but I survived...The last time I embarked on a similar journey, I told lots and lots of people. This time I'm not. It's more peaceful this way. No one will know unless I mention it; and I won't have to endure comments that come from people who have never done this. I do not regret that I told people before; because I wanted to demonstrate that it can be done. I could have done it better, but with the knowledge I had at the time; I did it relatively successfully. In a manner of speaking, this is the easier part. The challenge following will be returning to food. I feel much more prepared this time; because I will not plan to eat 3-6 meals day however small. In the past, for me that has proven to be a disaster - at this point, it doesn't matter to me how many nutritionists, dietitions and diet books agree. I got into the habit of eating just to be eating- and after a while I stopped enjoying the food, but I kept on eating my way up the scale. What I intend is to have one delicious meal in the evening with liquids during the day. I tried it before starting this, and it worked well. I experienced many positives to the one meal a day plan. No bloated heavy feeling during the day, no sluggishness, clear headedness, good energy all day, I lost weight; and even though I experienced hunger during the day, I always looked forward to, and enjoyed my no-diet-food meal. I also have the added motivation of one delightful person who was honest enough to admit to waiting to throw it back in my face if I put the weight back on after I've lost it. Hmmm...is the glass half empty or half full? I see a glass half full. I want to keep the weight off and maintain my new weight for me and to shut her trap...crazy glue would work too...
