Jim Bell is an ecological designer.
He is a master futurist planner.
I named him the Enchanted Garden Mayor of
San DIego a few years back and he said he would
accept that job.

THe Enchanted Garden is a name for our renewed earth
we can build one seed and seed dream at a time organically.
It begins in our own backyard.

Hi Leslie,

Assuming Poseidon numbers, less than 6 square miles of PV panels would produce enough electricity to replace all 600,000 acre feet of water currently used in San Diego County each year,(including for agriculture), if used to power reverse osmosis pumps to convert seawater into freshwater. Six square miles equals around 5% of San Diego County’s roofs and parking lots.

Water Cutback Protect Heads Toward Sacramento. What You Can Do Now.

A farmer, as reported on Channel Ten News May 23--is heading to Sacramento to ask the Governor and President to return the Water to So Cal Farmers. This is what you can do now to support the Water Cutback: 1. Gather Rain Water the next Few days. 2. Bring your rainwater to a local organic farmer at your local farmers' market. 3. Buy local organic food from at your local farmers' market. 4. Join a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Program now. Sign up at your Local Farmers' Market, or see list here.

Before I went to bed last night,
it was after midnight,
I turned on the Channel Ten News.

First there was a story about intense rain in San Diego
where we are having a drought.

Then, he showed a story I have been waiting for,
Seeing, and Seeding.

There was a story about a Farmer from North County who is driving his
Tractor to Sacramento to call attention to the 30% Cutback in Water
that is causing Further Hardship on our local farmers
and especially our Local Organic Farmers who were ALREADY
conserving BEFORE the Mandated 30% Cutback.

Do you get what I am saying?

IF you were an Conscious Organic Farmer last year,
and you were already conserving water and your water meter was
reading 70, not 100, this year, the Water Man came to your Farm
and and said:

Cut back 30%. Now you have to use 40 acres of water!

The man last year who was using/overusing 130 acre feet of water, now is
down to 100.

Back to the Point:

Mother Earth is going to give us some Rain now,
some very Holy Rain, on some very auspicious days.

This is what I am asking:

Please get water bottles.

Gather up your Rain.

Knock on the door of your neighbors.
Introduce yourself.

Ask them to gather rain.
Then ask them to join you in visiting a local
organic farming at the Farmers' Market.

Pledge to join a CSA. Pledge to Shop the FM and get food for your Neighbors.

I know you love your Mother Earth.

These are Real, Practical things you can do now
to Rebirth the Earth.

Your Enchanted Gardener
Leslie
