Caroline Kates, Whole Foods Team Member of the Year
and co-creator with Ray Kau, Marketing, of the innovative
WFM HIllcrest Marketing Team, sat down with Leslie Goldman
April 3 at the store.

Caroline gave Leslie a Big YES.

Your Enchanted Gardener will launch
the Nation of Gardener's Mini-Portable Enchanted Garden
Campaign, at Local Vendor's Day, Noon-3 PM, Saturday, April 5,
at the WFM Hillcrest Store.

The store is located at 611 University Ave, two blocks
East of the 163 South University Exit.

Local Farmers and Product makers from the San Diego
Bio-Region will display their goods, most sold
at WFM Hillcrest.

Leslie will set up a display table showing off the
new Mini Portable Enchanted Garden. Your Enchanted Gardener
is encouraging each person to "Keep the Beet!"
This involved purchasing a fresh beet from WFM Hillcrest
and/or Your Local Organic gardener/farmer at the Farmers' Market
and planting the beet in a pot. Your Enchanted Gardener says,
"Harvest the beet leaves as they grow! That is all
I asking One Person One Plant.

"Here is the formula says Your Enchanted Gardener
for A Nation of Gardeners:
One Person + One Plant + Plant Your Dream Job=
More Enchanted Gardener. It takes no Einstein
to understand this formula.

Leslie encourages the use of Job's Tears, a plant he grows
at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community
in San Diego, for Planting Your Dream Job.
The Job's Tears can be planting in the same
pot with the beet.

The Enchanted Garden is a name for our renewed Earth
that can only grow one person and dream growing together
starting in our own backyard.

WFM Hillcrest and Southern Pacific Region are
sponsors of various Enchanted Garden Campaigns since
2006. These include bringing in fresh that morning
picked locally grown organic strawberries from
Joe Rodriguez Jr. AKA Joe the Farmer to the Hillcrest store;
a full page ad inviting interaction with Local San DIego Growers Earth Fair in 07,
That event also gave away Job's
Tear seeds to kids, and had Leslie's Enchanted Garden
Mobile on display.

In June of 07, Enchanted Garden was one of five US Reps invited
to World Environment Day in Tecate. WFM sponsored
that trip. FIve boxes of Noel Stehly's organic oranges
were a big hit. Stehly is an Enchanted Garden Club Sponsor
and has his food in WFM throughout the nation.

"Plant a Seed. Grow a Whole New World!"
is the theme for 2008. Let's get rooted.
Keep the Beet!, says Your Enchanted Gardener,
and don't forget to Plant Your Dream Job!"
