The sight of new life
thrills me today and
captures my attention.
I want to share the love!

Reflected on how
my old friend Kent,
who shared his love for herbs,
died the other day;
and here a few days later,
life is born.
It is a cycle, isn't it?
I am really grateful
that a Hummingbird has shared this
intimate experience with me
here in our Enchanted Garden.

Today was the first time, I saw the mother blink.
I believe the sounds are in part the mother hummingbird
wovering nearby. That is what she sounds like.
