Reflections on Kent Taylor.... He died of a heart attack February 6.

When a person we know dies,
it compels us that knew him to live our lives more fully.

Kent Taylor is in a better place.
I heard that twice today within 30 minutes.

He was a man who from the outside seemed to have a lot.

At its heyday the Taylor Herb Garden in Vista, CA
was selling one million baby herb plants a year.
it;s future seemed limitless.

The Taylor's Herb Garden began in the 70's.
maybe around 1976.
I met Kent around 19 83. The Herb farm
was sold in 1989.

I was already wearing T-shirts at the time I met him
that said Cosmic Cleerleader. I already had a spiritual
foundation in nature from Dr. Bernard Jensen and then
through my Essene Studies in 1979. It was Kent that
put Baby Herb Plants in my hands, trays of them.

Those were the years that the Whole LIfe Expos
were at their leak in Los Angeles.

I developed the Closing Ceremonies that would end
with the spiritual energies that peaked being transmitted
to the plants. The plants were basically a giveaway.

They went home and implanted the New Age, literally
in the ground.

I would say that the landscape of So Cal was changed.
Many of my ideas grew with those plants.

Kent was a sponsor of the first real Enchanted Garden Installation
at in 1982 or 93 at the Town and Country Convention Center.

We had a whole room filled with plantlife.
Kent provided beautiful specimens, and lots of
Baby Herb Plants.

It was then, that I met Robert Muller undersecretary
General of the U.N. He woke up from a nap and was
disoriented.

"Where am I?"

I told him he was in the Enchanted Garden.

From a deep place in his lungs,
Robert Muller said to me,
"Let Us Make Our Entire, Miraculous Planet
into an Enchanted Garden!"

Kent will be cremated and have his remains placed
in a family plot at the Rose Hills Cemetary in Whittier.
