A bunch of people stepped up to the plate
November 29.
A lot of people were hurt in our recent wildfires.
More than 1600 homes were lost.
A number of people are in hospitals right now with severe burns.
I heard about one who was suffering yesterday and was asked to help.
It is a child. He father and a fireman were killed
at the time he was burned. His mother's life now feels shattered.
There are still some days left for each of us to step up to the plate.
The auction is organized by Jay Fiske
of Maestrosoft. Ron Nash of The Nash Group is one of the
sponsors. Baseball legend Steve Finley, known through his
career on and off the field as a Team Player, and Amy FInley,
of Finley Design, and HGTV "The Gourmet Next Door:"
hosted the Southern California Wildfires Benefit 07
at Malanga, their 7+ acre estate in Rancho Sante Fe November 29.
