This photos of the Rodriguez Ranch, JR Organics was taken the day after Thankgiving 2007.

San Diego has more organic farms than anywhere in the country.

many of the farmers are facing water use cutbacks,
and an endless stream of challenges.

I would like our remaining local organic farms to be a steppingstone for
seeing San Diego become a model for state of the art agriculture.
