Subject:Hi Leslie,

Do you know the story of when was the first time was celebrated the Thanksgiving day in America?- I am excited to share the history with you cause I just learned it last week.- viewing a DVD sponsored by Kevin Costner call : 500 nations. They show that it was the time of haversting at the end of the automn about''1663 for the english poeple. And they invited the firt native tribes to celebate and thanks them for the abundance of their culture, in their gardens, cause the first native poeple helped them a lot at the beginning, giving them advices, a lot of differnt seeds, etc.... The result of their culturte was excellent and the english prepared a great meal and invited the first native poeple to join them in celabration. But they answered with their immensewisdom: don't thank us, but thank mother earth for the gift of the nature. ANd they also said that day should be repeated each year AS an exemple of the good relationship to nurture, to take care between the two different nations and mother earth.. What a nice story. Unfortunatelly, things got worst and worst between them. Then came war .. But at the fisrt arrival of white poeple , there was peace and sharing between the red and the whites . And this is what we should keep in mind while celebrating that gathering which is thanksgiving day.
