Ending Plastic Overuse: Rhimax Progress by YourEnchantedGardener .....

I am going to Blog here on progress made with the Rhimax Durable Organic paper at the Pac Sym. It is very exciting discovering the many uses for this chemical free paper. It's success will impact the overuse of toxic plastic.

Ryan,

It is going to take me some days to recover from this event.
I have a lot to share about the positive experiences I had with Rhimax,
including some interest before the event for rolls from one farmer friend.

I am sure the 8 1/2 by 11 paper is going to be a winner as a product.

I will have some fantastic photos for the website/ or blog with kids.

It was very useful to protect surfaces including the floor under plants
and an expensive piano at the hotel. This felt really good.

We used it for a number of art projects,
and its use for art was really satisfying, and also a long banner the kids made.

I am enjoying discovering creative options with the product in the "field."

Being that we are going to have a learning curve with printing on the Rhimax,
I would like a stamp made of the logo and sent to me.
So when we do hand craft designs with the paper, I can stamp Rhimax Paper
by hand....and start to get more name recognition for the product.

Can you make me a stamp of the Rhimax Logo, about 2x2 or near that?

Thanks,
Leslie

We are researching production options and packaging options for 8.5” x 11” retails packages of paper. We have determined that a ream would likely/best be 100 sheets (this is 2” high pile and almost 3 lbs). Once we know costing, we can provide that info to you.

For printing on Rhimax: printers will vary, sometime significantly, on plate charges and set-up charges. Set-up charges will depend upon the printer and complexity. Printers will also vary on minimum quantities. Then, there is the actual printing cost (usually $x per 1000 count printed, with per unit price breaks for larger quantities). It is not impossible for find someone who will print as few as 500, but, pricing should not only be looked at as overall project cost, but cost/per/piece.

Size of product, number of pages, folds, any inserts, colors all that will impact pricing. You thinking more of the 8x8s or 8.5 x 11?

There is no simple black-&-white answer unfortunately; It really is project specific and printer specific.

Meanwhile, we are working on a production run for the 8.5” x 11” and again, once we know costs, we’ll follow-up with you!

Thanks, Ryan
