Got some excellent support from Arthur, a Tech for Adobe. He was very patient and showed me what I needed to know.

I am in Crunch time Preparing for the Pacific Symposium ;07
November 8-11.
A want to convert some of my layouts that are not printing
well on Rhimax Organic Paper.
I was fumbling around for 30 minutes attempting
to figure out a really simple thing, how to draw a ellispe
with a thick line around it.
I could do this intuitively in my old Photoshop Elements Program,
but this new Photoshop Elements 4.0 is foreign to me.
I called Adobe.
I have a Customer I.D. # now.
It was midday, and there was a long wait.
The wait was forth it.
I spoke to Arthur, who offers Adobe Tech support.
He was based outside of Portland, Oregon.
He really cleared up my issues.
He showed me how to make the shape I wanted using the
Elltical Marque tool, and then add a stroke line.
He showed me how to use the magic wand select tool
to select an area between two shapes,
and then to flatten the image.
I never knew this before.
He taught be about the Undo History feature.
I never used this before.
He taught me how to add some stroke lines.
He guided me the the area in the help section where
I could find out how to do this and other things for myself.
He was extremly patient.
He taught me a say to save time doing a Save for Web.
This improves the way I was doing it that was very labor intensive.
I got off the phone feeling I got a real boost.
I appreciate that Adobe supports Photoshop Elements 3.0
for my new Imac.
Arthur really helped me along
in creating the next steps for my
World Peace Starter Kit, that one of these days
is going to be in a lot of Garden shops.
I asked him where to send a report of his excellent work:
