space for farm land as we rebuild?

Sitting in the dining room
eating a tortilla with raw tahini
and Follow Your Heart grapeseed spread....
got some Joe the Farmer locally grown lettuce on it.

Tastes good after a lunch of fresh juice
greens with beets, and then later
some very special pomegranates
from Phil and Juany Noble.

Then I thinking about a friend
who is house bound right now,
the windows taped,
three air filters going.

I have an image of that scene in
Cecil B Demille's Ten Commandments
wheret the Angel of Death
is coming through the streets of Egypt
and all the first born are dropping in their tracts.

Joshua puts lamb blood over the doors
of some homes so the Angel of Death
will pass them by.

The air I am breathing right now
is irritating my lungs and nasal passages.

I can imagine those airplanes they are using
to kill the fires--dropping all that stuff that
looks like Agent Orange, doing a Fly by
with gas masks.

I am not sure what the consequences are going to be.

What are we reaping now?

There ought to be a law that building materials need to be
green.

Burning Plastics and other unnaturals is really producing
some havoc in my nose right now.

During the summer, we did some major cleanup in the basement.
I called it the Great Earth Cleanup.

Housemates are complaining that the smell of mold is back.
Some are avoiding doing their laundry done there.

I just went into the basement.

The air quality down there now is some of the cleanest is our city
of San Diego. It actually smells fresh in comparison to what
is in my room or outside.

The President did land.

He gave a nice speech and a phone # to call FEMA.

I imagine that 800 # is a bit busy right now.

I wish he would be proactive and just send the gas masks.

I was using one this summer made by the 3M company.
It was helpful when we were cleaning up the hoarding at
my father's house.

I do not imagine there is another one of these in town right
now on the shelves. I got this at Home Depot.

I would like some refills of the refillable white thingy's.

Home Depot....give them a call. now.

On the side of the gasmask it says,
Warning: Misuse may result in sickness or death.

May this is serious stuff with our with a mask.
