Maintaining weight loss while detoxing by PhilosophicalCat .....

Maintaining low weight to reduce toxins, improve health and extend life

Date:   10/10/2007 10:41:17 AM ( 17 y ago)

My main goals are to reduce the toxins in my body, and to increase my healthy reserves.

I began with a series of initial cleanses:
Colon (P&B shakes)
Parasite (Clarkia, encapsulated anti-parasitic herbs)
Kidney (Banaba tea, parsley tea, Clark's and Moritz' cleanses, in that order)

I began what will be a lifetime of liver flushes. The initial flush period I estimate to be about 3 years, at the rate my body is responding. I have completed half of that period, having done 25 liver flushes over 18 months. A variety of toxin symptoms manifested during this time:
Skin-coloured moles forming, moving around my face and neck, and then disappearing
Reddened skin and rash around my nostrils, particularly on the right side
Kidney overload (successfully eased with Banaba tea)

So far, the supply of stones seems to be endless. Recently (flushes 18-21 and 23-25) all stones were tiny, suggesting that the end was in sight. Flush 22 produced a lot of large stone, including the largest to date, 3.2 cm. My diet and activities did not change at that time. So, I decided to try the MC at the earliest opportunity to see if detoxing throughout the body might help.

Some of the same symptoms appeared again: Tiny, travelling skin-coloured moles and the rash around my nostrils.

The MC has produced a significant loss of body weight, which I interpret to be partly water (3-5 pounds) and 50% fat, 50% muscle. Since fat contains toxins, I've been willing to forgo a little muscle mass now in the interest of eliminating toxins. However, at Day 17 my strength has returned - an important sign that the MC has been successful at eliminating a lot of the nausea- and weakness-causing toxins. So now, I can turn my attention to maintaining the weight loss while rebuilding muscle mass and continuing detoxing.

My maintenance weight/BF goals: 47 kg (105 pounds), 23% BF - or lower. I will aim for the lowest weight and BF possible to maintain energy, strength and health. Thin people live longer!

My plan:
Increase walking to pre-MC levels (10,000 - 20,000 steps per day)
Take up calisthenics, light weight-lifting and possibly yoga
Improve sleeping habits (in bed at 10 pm, up at 6 am)

After the MC is concluded:
Continue with pre-MC levels of supplements, including chlorella & spirulina
Return to and increase iodine supplementation
One week of Tsetsi's egg/lime/oil mini-flush to build liver strength & nutrients
Weekly detox baths at home and saunas at a local gymn when convenient
Another round of cleanses for parasites, kidneys and colon

Diet: Mostly organic food (pre-MC it was about 50% organic)
At least 50% raw. Considering 100% raw for a few weeks after MC
Begin using lentils and beans and decrease meat to twice a week

Liver Flush every 2 - 3 weeks until there are no stones, or baseline levels are reached
Occasional use of Tsetsi's flush to maintain liver health
Daily meditation
MC seasonally
Look into emotional detoxing
Look into detox massage
In about 18 months have my metal levels checked and start metal detoxing

This might look obsessive, but I want to return my health to optimal levels (levels I may have not experienced yet!) There is a lot I want to do in this life, so I'd better give myself good health and long life so I can accomplish some of those things!
