I did not go home last night.
I slept at the new home of beloved friends
Cutty and Jana, here in the San Elijo Hills.

The apartment is in the downtown area of this
small village that did not exist ten years ago.

This entire development was undeveloped land.
The area lies between the city of Encinitas
and Escondido.

When I lived with Dr. Jensen years ago in the
outskirts of Escondido, high up near Lake Wohlford,
I would pass through parts of this area to go to
Questhaven Retreat where Florence Newhouse
created a community that honors Angels.

Florence Newhouse has some very inspiring books
about Angels.

I woke up with a headache.
Not sure why. Very unusual.
I cannot trace it to anything in particular.

Spent the morning lying in bed
looking over "20 Minute Kabbalah."
I got a copy of that book from Rabbi Wayne Dosick
and his wife Ellen. The gala coming out party
for the book was yesterday. I took photos
that are quite extraordinary.

I will write about the book later.

I stayed in the area to keep an appointment
with something very real, butterflies.

Ellen Bialik, the wife of Burt,
is an elementary school teacher up in Oceanside,
not too far from here.

She has a garden at the school.
Her garden theme was creating a butterfly
garden.

She tells me there are four kinds of butterflies!!!

The secret was planting the food that feeds
butterflies.

If you plant Milkweed in this environs,
monarch butterflies come.

"If you build it, they will come"
says "Field of Dreams."

Oh my God, what did we build here
in San Elijo off Elfin Road?

Where did all the Angels go that inhabited
this wild area less than ten years ago.

I am glad for Jana and Cutty that they are here.
Jana does deep spiritual healing work. Cutty
is the best of best male friends.

Jana is needed here to sooth the pain of
nature spirits that were kicked out of
their homes. Maybe some of them have
gone down Elfin Forest Road over the Questhaven.
aven.

Many I am sure are still here,
and they fell pissed.

The Elf part of me has been incredibly
out of sorts with myself during recent
weeks, maybe months. The Computer crash
that forced me to get a new Imac last week
is causing me to rethink my relationship
to nature and what I want to do with my time.

The recent eclipses for me were about
being compelled by Life to go simple.

It is a good day to keep an appointment
with Butterflies.
