Oh Earth Mother,
Divine in Nature,
let us be soilmates.

Growing these
blades of grass I'm growing
as all natural things grow.

Remind me through gentle
rain, through my own body's
aches and pains, to spend time
with you.

There is a gentle rain falling.
Wrote a litle prayer.

Thinking of this weekend.
It is a Harvest Festival Succut.

Oh, that is why Angelene has been
pulled in the direction of making a hut.
It the the Festival of Huts,
a week to eat outdoors.

There is a part of me in rebellion
at the way I am spending my time.
Do I really need my old calendar back
so I remember what I did this past Spring?

What is the cost of spending so much time
hunting down to bring back what is now hidden?
