Too Muddy to Walk Today
...but I had a 2-day stash of dandelion greens -- Yea!!

It rained all night and there are no paved roads within 3 miles, so I was not able to take my walk today. Now it is raining again. I hope it stops soon and dries up! Will have to learn how to use the treadmill here otherwise!
Looking at my breaks and bites of non-raw non-vegan foods the last few days, I remind myself not to consider myself as having fallen off the wagon -- which would only be an excuse to pig out on more unhealthy stuff. I know I must get up, dust myself off, and continue "as if nothing happened." It's the only way.
Ran out of watermelon today. Hopefully will be able to drive to town tomorrow to get another! (The muddy roads also paralyze my little car.) If I can't get out, it will be another lesson in eating what I have available. I won't starve.
Daily hour-long meditations help me along. I miss the time walking outside. Maybe I will try to put on footwear that will allow me to walk in mud tomorrow. Not sure if I can (due to the open sores on my feet and legs being a bit painful), but maybe maybe...
Today I switched things around: Watermelon for breakfast, cucumber-tomato salad for lunch and now the green smoothie for dinner. Later if I get hungry I can always have a carrot or two.
Today my smoothie made of: 3 small organic bananas, 1 Fuji apple, 1 Bartlett pear, about a cup of frozen blueberries, 2 cups water and several handsful of dandelion greens. Oh, and a little honey too -- because the more dandelion is in there the more bitter the smoothie can get! Dandelion greens are sooooo good for me, really help clean me out. I know they are excellent for the liver too!
Cheers,
Michele
