Day 10 Raw
...and going pretty good!

Had watermelon for breakfast, cucumber-tomato salad for lunch, a raw chocolate bar (still ate too much -- will have to half the amount next time!), then had a smoothie made with water, bananas, celery, Bartlett pear, blueberries (frozen) and wild dandelion. It was really too bitter but today I didn't mind. However in the future I'll add more fruit. Then for a late night snack watermelon, and may soon have a little bit of my homemade sauerkraut (for the probiotics since I used my Zapper today).
More and more I am seeing that I need to center my focus on the food I CAN eat and take my focus AWAY from those things I do not wish to eat but which smell and taste good to me.
I keep realizing all the things I will be able to do with 1,000 times more confidence once I lose this extra hundred pounds I've been carrying around. It would be tragic to allow this to continue. I must free myself of that weight and live my life to its fullest. I know it will take time, though, so meanwhile I also need to accept and life myself AS I AM. It's not about hating how I am now; it's about loving what I can and will be.
Got some unexpected work so won't have quite as much time to blog, but will try to check in every day.
