Day #6 Raw - A Good Day
Feeling a little more relaxed, knowing that there is enough for me to eat raw and vegan

organic banana
5 organic almonds
Fuji apple
organic cucumber-organic tomato-onion salad w/sunflower and pumpkin seeds (and olive oil, Celtic sea salt, AC vinegar, dash fresh lime)
smoothie of:
3 short organic celery sticks (hearts)
3 organic bananas
3 handsful organic green lettuce (not sure what kind, it was just the only one that was not too expensive at the store, and the last one!)
1.75 cups water
2-3 tablespoons goji berries
2 tsp. cacao nibs
1 TBL coconut butter
Okay, that's what I've had thus far, (except I am still drinking the smoothie) and it is about 5:30 p.m.
If I get hungry later I'll do the guacamole sushi thing like yesterday.

I just finished making chili cheesedogs for the family I cook for. (Can you tell I'm not the one that makes the menus? ha)
I am getting better and better with being around foods that are not on my diet. I don't look at them much, and I know I will not taste them, so that makes it easier.
Had a good walk today. Went further than ever before since I have lived here. Maybe I walked 1.25 miles, maybe more. My feet hurt this afternoon, but just the fact I could walk that far shows real progress.
Last time I weighed myself was I think about 10 days ago. I weighed 240 lbs. I'll weigh in again soon. Maybe Friday, or Saturday. My body does not let go of excess weight easily! When I was younger and weighed much less I always thought it was harder for people who only were 10 or 20 lbs. overweight. I thought surely someone who is truly obese would have pounds start melting off the minute they ate less. That is just not true, at least not with me. In fact, I would venture to say that the ONLY diet I can lose more than 1 or 2 lbs. per month is the raw food diet.
