Post Fast Day 3
returning to solids
Date: 4/26/2007 11:29:02 AM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 2702 times I kind of miss juicing now! I feel good, but a little bloated from the solid foods in my body even though I have had a very small amount. Yesterday I had:
80 oz water
8 oz orange juice
10 grapes
1 strawberry
1/2 cup steamed veggies (zucchini, squash, carrot, mushroom)
1 corn tortilla with small amount of black beans, rice, salsa and lemon
It is a strange transition into solids. I feel so much heavier (in my stomach)already. I assume this feeling will subside after my body adjusts. I am still going to have a juice for at least 1 meal today. For breakfast I had a pear. I also upped my exercise since I am eating solids. I increased my eliptical about 15 minutes more. I am not going to weigh myself until the end of the week because I am sure it will fluctuate until it adjusts to the solids and I don't want to get discouraged. I know I am eating very healthy and exercising and that is what matters. Also, my pants are falling off me so I get to go shopping this weekend for a smaller size. :)
