Cravings and learning to pamper mySelf.

Last night I took time to appreciate me. I hit the steam room at the gym, came home and tucked my young God into bed, and pampered myself like the Queen I am. I started off by juicing some "exotic fruit." Okay, they weren't THAT exotic -Kiwis, mangoes, strawberries, blackberries but they sure did taste good together. Mind you, before I bought my juicer my fasting days were filled with boring carrot juice and if I felt like a dose of sugar I would go for a juiced apple ----a mediocre melody indeed. Now, I'm actually enjoying downing juiced drinks. After I drank my juice, I wrapped myself in an organic mud/vinegar spa detox scrub, lit my bathroom candles, turned on some jazz music, and soaked. It felt wonderful to finally take time to give myself what I deserve.
This morning I made a drink of kale, carrots, beets, AND Dill (dangit I didn't know how good dill can make a vegi drink taste). I MUST start adding it to my salads when I start chewing again.
I'm still having cravings...CRAZY cravings. They must be a part of the cleansing process. Yesterday, I thought I wanted fish sticks .....YUCK! I haven't had fish in 12 years and I damn sure haven't had fish sticks since grade school...and I'm 30 years young! Can these gross foods still be in my system? How do I get rid of them? Is it a slow fasting process?
Also why am I craving sugar at night?----in the form of fruit. Could it be a comfort issue? Anyway, I'm taking each day as it comes...and enjoying the cleansing process.
