30 Day Juice Fast Journey -- Day Fourteen
I'd get together with girlfriends and have Clothes Swap Gatherings...

It's a real drag having to borrow someone else's computer because they usually want to use it when I do. Like right now, my husband wants to use his computer and here I am writing this blog. I reminded him that I cooked him a lovely dinner this evening of which I could not partake and the least he could do was allow me to moan to people who would listen and understand. He bowed out graciously... darling man. But I will keep this short and sweet.
Today is Day 14 of my 30 day juice fast. Tomorrow will be the halfway mark! I am so glad. Today wasn't a bad day, but it was tedious. Slow, like it was dragging a weight behind it. I wasn't hungry, per se, but I did feel hollow. Yeah, that's a very good description. I felt hollow. Not light, not hungry, just hollow. Strange sensation. I also have a lingering headache and woke this morning with the sniffles, I think I might be catching Ausjulie's cold. I just hope it passes as quickly as her's did. Lucky girl.
So, for the most part, I sat around the house and out back on the lanai, sipped teas and broths and read all day long. Laid low, rested. Magellan, my big, beautiful, 15 pound, seven month old kitten was especially affectionate today and kept me company curled up next to me. He prefers my fruit broth to the veggie broth and kept trying to stick his nose in my cup. I suppose I will have to stick with veggie broth when he's around.
When I lived in North Carolina, I'd get together with girlfriends and have Clothes Swap Gatherings. We'd go through our closets and bring all the clothes, shoes and accessories we no longer wanted. Then we'd hang everything up on clothes racks and display the shoes and accessories. Then we'd browse the clothes take whatever we wanted. Whatever was left would go to Goodwill or the Salvation Army. Of course, there'd be lots of food and wine and laughter. And some of us wanted to try on our new clothes. So these gatherings lasted a quite a few hours. They were always great fun and everyone would end up with new clothes and shoes.
Tomorrow, if I am feeling perkier, I plan to go through my closets and pull out clothes I've not been able to wear for the last few years or so, see how they fit. I have my own walk-in closet crammed with clothes, and use a closet in the guest room and half of my husband's closet. The clothes sizes range from a size 6 to a size 14. I've decided when I am done with this fast, I am giving away all the clothes a size larger than whatever size I am on up to the 14s. That way, my husband can have his closet back.
And, now he'd like to use his computer. So, I shall oblige him. Talk with you tomorrow.
May all your juices be delicious!
