We will start by telling you about how the Tar Heel got his name of "Color Me Gone"....  It all started years ago, near King's Mt NC....    This is the story of a mountain boy, with a love for hot cars and speed........

It was back in 1983, when I was clocked going so fast that I ran over a rabbit crossing the street and never heard the niose from the impact.
