Over 35 years into "The Cards".

This Blog-writer can see no end to his learning process with The Cards! And no wonder when the fundamental alchemical revelations of the cards reveal themselves to him. The following quote points to how this is so:
"If I had to think of a name for this system I would call it Spirit & Nature’s Time, as that is what it truly is – it is the dance of Spirit and Nature as they unfold as each of us and enjoy each of us in our individual lives."[8]

"The Destiny Cards help us to learn more about ourselves and look at our life from a new perspective. The Destiny Cards can give you a clue and an extension and clarification of your own astrological and numerological maps, strictly calculated according to your elements, attitudes, emotions, and reactions to others - and most importantly - to yourself."[3]

Just discovered this new site that I find exceptional!

March 4, 2018 - Theosophy - "In The Cards" -
The Theosophical Society was Founded on the 17th of November in 1875.[7] The November 3rd gives the society the 3 of Clubs as a "Birth Card". The 3 of Clubs is "The Writer's Card". It comes with two Planetary Ruler Cards: 7 of Clubs: "Spiritual Knowledge" and 7 of Spades: "The Faith Card".
I got inspired to research this in looking at: "Theosophy: A Modern Revival of Ancient Wisdom" - by Alvin Boyd Kuhn.

February 19, 2018 - The Golden Buddha -
"... is a gold statue, with a weight of 5.5 tons (5,500 kilograms). It is located in the temple of Wat Traimit, Bangkok, Thailand. At one point in its history the statue was covered with a layer of stucco and coloured glass to conceal its true value, and it remained in this condition at for almost 200 years, ending up at what was then a pagoda of minor significance. During relocation of the statue in 1955, the plaster was chipped off and the gold revealed. ..."[4]

I just heard about this from Nick Ortner[5] who wrote:
"Have you heard the story of the Golden Buddha?
In a nutshell, over 300 years ago, as a Burmese army planned an attack to invade Thailand (then called Siam), Siamese monks who were in possession of an enormous treasure, a solid gold Buddha that today would be valued at around 300 million dollars, made a decision.
To protect the Buddha from being plundered, they covered it in 12 inches of clay. The Burmese attackers, thinking it worthless, ignored it. ..."

The "relocation of the statue in 1955" sparked my interest in a couple of ways and was hoping that I'd find an exact date for that event. Fortunately that date was revealed: May 25th. I then calculated the Card for May 25th as the 7 of Clubs. The card is known as "Spiritual Knowledge"!
"Seven is the most mystical of all numbers,"[6]

January 26, 2015 -
My very first introduction to "the cards" was in 1986 in Chicago when I was unexpectedly "gifted" with the main text at that time: "What's Your Card". In 1997 Robert Camp published Love Cards. In '98 Susan Hathaway and Debbie Crick published Birthday & Relationship Digest - The Cards of Illumination System. Also in '98 Robert published Destiny Cards. I have these and intend to get Robert's latest. (I emailed Robert yesterday with a question I had about "Karma Cousins".)
The other day I got to thinking how the cards offer insights on love, life, the spiritual, destiny and karma! It's all in the cards![1]

August 4, 2017 -
I see a progression of introductions that I can share with others starting with the Individual's Birth Card. All that requires is to know the month and the day that the Individual was born. Most people know this date. I am so amazed at the extent of information that can be known just with the birthday! We get to see not only the Birth-card but in most case also the Individual's "Planetary Ruler Card" that governs the astrological Sun sign of the Birth-card.
Then we can progress to the Human Design BodyGraph for the Individual that also requires the year, location and time that the individual was born. I'm so convinced of the importance of knowing one's Human Design firstly for the Individual to understand how they can consistently make the right decisions in their life, in their living arrangements, in their work and in all their relations. I'm so convinced that I require being able to see people's Human Design before engaging with them! This came up just this past day with a good friend who wants to introduce me to his team on a new mission that he is co-creating. I asked for the natal data of these other Individuals who happen to be women. My friend shared (what I call) his resistance to inquiring with the ladies about their birthdays saying "women don't like to make their age public". I responded saying that in the context of team-building as well as given the insight we now have (or can have) regarding Human Design in small group formations (BG5[2]) that this "threshold" of resistance needs to be crossed for the sake of the greater mission! I also said that I need to know whether or not the resistance persists after giving a respectful request. If it does persist then I am not attracted to working with others for team-bilding purposes without including Human Design! However, in the case of persistent resistance to revealing one's full birthdate then I might suggest a "half step" of starting with the Birth-card. I think a Birth-card "reading" could possibly open the door for the more in-depth Human Design introduction.
