Salad Day

Date: 8/16/2014 9:33:52 PM ( 10 y ) ... viewed 938 times I had two meals today. Both meals were a large salad. I'm getting used to eating one meal a day so I feel like I ate too much. I live close to a take out salad bar. I can make my own salads there. They have a lot of healthy choices for the salad creation. Greens, raw veggies, mushrooms, seeds, nuts, raisins, beans, etc make it easy to eat healthy. I can also add a little of other salads pre made to my creation like quinoa or potato salad. I find adding a little of those makes it more filling. I think it is less expensive to go there than to buy all that food and and let half of it rot in my refrigerator. Also, it saves me a lot of time. Not making trips to the grocery store removes a lot of temptations as well. I always end up buying things I don't need in those places. Another reason that I think this is a good idea for me is that I do not have to keep food around which would tempt me to eat when I should not. I'm thinking of making this plan a major part of my weight loss program. I could have one large salad only days made from this bar. I know two is too much because that's what I did today and I feel a little too full. I'm not miserable, but I would have felt better with less food in my stomach.
