Re-Juicing - Days 1 to 7
2nd fast in a month
Date: 8/8/2010 3:50:42 PM ( 13 y ) ... viewed 38663 times After breaking my fast two weeks ago for a period of one week, I got back on the juicing wagon for a further 7 days.
I re-started on Monday, 2 August 2010, and today is Sunday, 8 August.
My weight has been as follows:
Day 1 - 10st 1.6lbs
Day 2 - 10st 0.2lbs
Day 3 - 9st 12.2lbs
Day 4 - 9st 11.0bs
Day 5 - 9st 9.6lbs
Day 6 - 9st 8.8.lbs
Day 7 - 9st 8.8lbs
That equals a 6.8lb weight loss in 6 days, and a total of 15.2lbs since starting nearly four weeks ago. If I had not broken my fast for a week, I would have been so close to my target of 28lbs.
On Day 6 I did not have any fruit in the house, but I had some lemon and yoghurt, so I had hot water and lemon, and then had some yoghurt as my stomach was growling. That is probably why my weight has remained the same since yesterday. However, I am staying over at my in-laws this weekend and they have a different kind of scale, so is that the cause?
I don't know, but I have managed to shed a lot of weight, but will be suffering when Ramadan starts next week. Therefore, I have to break my fast again tomorrow, properly, and then eat as healthy as possible.
It has been a weird experience this time round. I have had a lot of headaches, maybe because I have not been drinking enough, but I have had more energy this time round than the fast I did two weeks ago.
I will no doubt do another one when Ramadan finishes (which will be mid-September) and I look forward to being a much healthier me.
I must incorporate virgin coconut oil in my diet. I have heard so many wonderful things about it so I must start.
Besides the above, nothing much to report. I have been losing weight on the juice fast, but I have also been gaining weight slowly once I have finished. It is up to me to make the change, so I must not be silly.
I haven't been this weight for at least 14 months, so glad to see the potential in me.
