Tonight is our second
COME ALIVE! class.

here at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community.
These classes will help you
revive your connection to
natural living through
becoming familar with the
teachings and studies of
DR. BERNARD JENSEN.
I was up early looking over
A JOURNEY OF AWAKENING
and A HUNZA TRIP WITH DR. BERNARD JENSEN.
I am taking some notes of what I want
to cover in the class tonight.

We treat the earth as a place where we can throw things away
as if they are garbage.
I want to discuss this Wednesday night,
in light of the film ADDICTED TO PLASTIC
and Teachings from the book
THE WHEEL OF HEALTH that relate
to principles of living wholly on the earth.

NOTES ON A JOURNEY OF AWAKENING:
These daily meditations from RABBI TED FALCON's Book
serve to integrate a person. They are meditations based
on the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is a Map of Consciousness
that was used by the Essenes, the mystical group that is
known for writing the Dead Sea Scrolls. The Essenes
were one of Dr. Bernard Jensen's favorite studies.
He always supported my Essene studies and was
very pleased that I became an Essene Minister
and studied with his old friend
EDMOND BORDEAUX SZEKELY,
the Essene Renaissance Prophet of the 20th Century.
I recommend that you

rabbi. I use this book every year on a
seven week journey between Passover and Shavuot.
We are now in the 41st day of the Journey.
Tonight begins the 42nd day.
We are in the week of Yesod.
This week we are integrating Foundation issues.
Yesterday was day 40. 40 is a special number in
Kabbalah. Here is a quote from the material
for day 40:
"Traditionally we are cautioned against studying kabbalah
before the age of forty. This is not a measure of time as much
as a measure of awareness. We are to be well-grounded before
such study can be of true meaning."
Grounding is the nature of Yesod.
"The journey is never an easy one.
In the true wilderness, we will be met by the crucial issues
of our lives. Snd we will also meet the deeper goals
which unfold with each step.
The wilderness is the place of transforming our
resistances into blessings."
This transformation comes as
we turn our breakdowns into breakthroughs.
Today, we are in day 41.
"This day focuses on Yesod in Yesod.
The light is centered in the genital area..
This is the energetic center of sexuality,
which is central to our ego self.
It is central to the ego's task of
individual biological survival.
Our challenge is to keep the ego
pen to those energies which flowe
from less separate aspects of Self,
for then we can manifest the fuller
truth of our being."
"We are not asked to kill ego,
but to actualize through it our fuller being."
"We are animal, yet we are more.
Our minds awaken with the vision of the Whole.
Our hearts sing with the harmony of the Universe."
"We would translate the image and the song
into the material world of our physical senses.
We are the beings who have the opportunity
of remembering Who we are."
"Our way is not to deny the urges o our lesser
'i", but to utilize those urges in the service
of healing and wholeness."
IT is to this that we are called.
It is for this that our world needs us.
We strengthen our separte self with all the
energies available to us now."
"We are aware of the strengths now o our individual
identity."
At sunset May 20, we enter day 42, the energies
of Malchut, the Kingdom, integrate with the energies
of a week in the vibration of Yesod, foundation.
"Malchut is the final sefirah, into which all the energies
moving through the Tree of Life finally flow."
Malchut is where all this happens. IT is the place within
which we are given the opportunity to awaken.
It is the place of enslavement, and it is the place of freedom.
This is the wonderful kingdom of possibility.
Malchut is the sefirah which ground all those above it.
In electrical systems, without a suitable and stable "ground,"
the current cannot flow fully and clearly."
We need a stable grounding to all energies on the entire
Tree to flow freely and with purpose."
"Malchut provides the environment in which we can stand."
The Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge are two
very relevant understandings to our study of the
DR. BERNARD JENSEN Revival Teachings.
The Tree of Life sees life from a perspective of
wholeness and connection. Energy flows
from inside to out. Dreams grow from inside to out.
Seeds begin as Seed Dreams in our inner world.
They are generated in our Soul's imaginings.
They are then planted in the Soil.
The Earth and the Soul are soilmates.
Without a literal garden, the grounding
that is basic to every human, does not express fully.
That is an Enchanted Garden Teaching.
The Enchanted Garden is a name of our renewed
Earth that grows and unfolds as we plant our dreams
in soil.
Here is a reflection on the Tree of Life from
ALEXANDER POPE
(1688-1744) who wrote an ESSAY ON MAN (1734)
in EPISTLE THREE.
Look round our world; behold the chain of love
Combining all below and all above.
See plastic* nature working to this end,
The single atoms each to other tend,
Attract, attracted to, the next in place
Form'd and impell'd its neighbour to embrace.
See matter next, with various life endu'd,
Press to one centre still, the gen'ral good.
See dying vegetables life sustain,
See life dissolving vegetate again:
All forms that perish other forms supply,
(By turns we catch the vital breath, and die)
Like bubbles on the sea of matter born,
They rise, they break, and to that sea return.
Nothing is foreign; parts relate to whole;
One all-extending, all-preserving soul
Connects each being, greatest with the least;
Made beast in aid of man, and man of beast;
All serv'd, all serving: nothing stands alone;
The chain holds on, and where it ends, unknown.
* plastic=plasticity.
We have really "devolved"
the concept since 1734!

WHY STUDY THIS BOOK?
I was stunned recently watching
ADDICTED TO PLASTIC, a very important film
by IAN CONNACHER.
I wrote about that here.
What is our Life Sustaining?
I highly recommend you get a copy
of this film from the
EARTH CINEMA CIRCLE
and watch it with friends.
It is one of the most important films
I have watched this year.
ADDICTED TO PLASTIC contains
a compelling message.
We are not Plastic Potty Trained.
In the USA, only a small % of the plastic
we use, is recycled or reused. This may be
as low as 5%. In other countries, with
even more intense populations, as shown
in the film, plastic has become a major
environmental crisis. Massive amounts
of land are inundated.
On top of this, the film reports
a health crisis right now below the radar
of most of us. Plastic containers are toxic,
and the smaller the particles, the more
they are invading and disturbing our health.
The film identifies elements in plastic
that are carcinogenic--cancer causing.
It also suggests that there are possible
Bioplastics that can be substituted if
we get busy.
I highly recommend this book.
I recommend it because it
has principles and keys we need
for beginning to reestablish
a healthy relationship with our environment.
The condition of our relationship
is powerfully shown in ADDICTED TO PLASTIC.
We do not have a healthy relationship
with our environment at all,
and if we do not intervene more
and more of us will be effected.
Our oceans are in crisis.
They determine the majority of our air supply.
We are losing our air supply.
A HUNZA TRIP with DR. JENSEN
gives important keys to remedy
our relationship with the environment.

REVIEW OF INTRODUCTION
TO A HUNZA TRIP WITH DR. JENSEN:
I lived with Dr. Bernard Jensen
at the HIDDEN VALLEY HEALTH RANCH
during various times between 1972 and 1976.
I came there right out of college.
It was Dr. Jensen who opened my eyes
to what a healthy relationship to my environment
would be like.
It was the first place where I discovered
and felt the sunshine on my whole body.
It was the place where I first experiences
that it was possible to improve my arthritis
condition through natural ways.
During the time I lived with Dr. Jensen
he revisited the Hunza Valley. This book
came out in the years following our living together.
I remember enormous squashes growing
from seeds he brought back from the Hunza Valley.
He was inspired to go there because
he read A WHEEL OF HEALTH by G.T. WRENCH M.D.
Dr, Jensen writes:
"Our travels confirmed our teachings
of lving the natural life,
and our teachings, in turn,
were influenced by our travels."
It was a joy to see these old people,
living in balance with nature,
eating the proper foods,
living at the right altitude
in a good climate,
practicing the art of love
an strong family ties,
unaware that they held the
Keys to good health and therefore
to a long life.
All of life should be integrated--
spiritual, mental, and physical.
The same ideas and ideals have come
again and again in my practice of the past
48 years, and we welcome this
opportunity to share them with you.
Consider and study:
In Japan, iodine from seafood was used
so much in their diet that there was very
little goiter, but in Switzerland many people
in the mountains had this disease because
of the lack of iodine.
It was in these countries that we could
see the effects of environment upon the body."
So, my friend,
what is the effects of plastic on our
environment today?
What are the effects of drinking from
plastic bottles on our health today?
What can we do about this?
I have allies deeply involved in
shifting the dilemma we are in.
Go support them.
Read about the vision of ANTHONY ZOLEZZI,
TONY TRACY, JOEY MENDELSOHN and MARC WOLLMAN,
and ANTHONY RUSSO.
But most of all, I want to know,
what is your dream?
Why are you alive today?
What is the condition of the world you have
inherited?
Will it be a better and more whole place
when you are in your elder years?
"Things may be taken from you,
depreciation may come to you,
and losses may strike you.
Forget the idea of losses
and start attaching yourself
to all that is good.
There is never a negative without a positive charge
right next to it.
There isn't any heat in the world
without some cold.
There isn't any sunset that ever comes,
that a sunrise doesn't follow.
Right there were you look,
you will find the good,
for the good thing has been said,
'Look again my friend,
the fields are ripe and
ready to be harvested!"
