Scary! Virus download on a Mac?
help with Virus Protection download Popup!

Scary! Just what I did not need!
I was googling Albertson's for HP Kiosk.
I got a download Virus protector....
One of those things that attempts to scan your computer.
Those Pop Up Screens are difficult to close!
I called Apple Care. Adrian got me out of it.
I had to do a force Quit.
Then shut down. Then unplug all USB Cables.
We reset the preferences on Safari.
and cleared the whole history.
It appears to be O.K.
Took about 40 minutes to do all this.
I had other things to do.
The Pop said by Credit Card info was at risk.
I could not cancel out. I did not want to press continue.
