Day 5 of Journal, Day 5 of juice fast.
11 lbs. loss in five days.

Weight 204.2; 1.8 lbs. since yesterday, 11 lbs. since Monday.
Yesterday after returning from the beach, my wife and went to the gym at around 11:00 p.m. We started with 30 minutes in dry sauna, followed by 45 of low intensity cardio on the eliptical and finshed with a 10 steam. Drank lots of water during my work out so I don't dehydrate. Before bed, I made an apple cider vinegar drink. The recipe is 2 table spoons of acv with 8 ounces of water sweetened with honey or stevia. It tasted pretty refreshing. I read the ACV helps with cleansing the liver and kidneys.
I am amazed that I still losing 2-3 lbs daily after 5 days on the juice fast. I really thought it would slow down to .5 or 1 lbs. per day after the second day, but it hasn't.
This morning I am going to drink so oolong tea followed by a vegatable juice. I had a good night's rest. My stomach felt a little hollow, almost on the verge of feeling nauseas. My wife is starting a 3 day juice fast to get her weight going in the other direction. She has settled in between 120-122 lbs. for the last 10 days or so, despite exercising and eating relatively clean. Since she is petite, her ideal weight range is between 103-107 lbs. She is going to try to break the 120 break the 120 lbs. barrier by Sunday.
