Dear Georg,
I want to commend the Westgate servers at the Plaza Bar last night
for their delightful personal attentiveness during my 60th Birthday Celebration.
We found the Plaza Bar a bit overflowing when we arrived,
and requested seating in the lobby.
Our server spent wonderful attention on us, and knew the menu extremely well.
He accommodated all our needs. We had some of our vegetarian friends with us
and it was very kind to see the extra mile he made to meet their needs.
Angelene Frattalone, head of our Culinary Department here at the Enchanted Garden
Intentional Community is in Food Service at Ruby's Diner. She is one of their
lead personnel at the Mission Valley outlet.
She enjoyed the serloin hamburger very much and commented that
that alone was worth the visit.
Anna Varnell, lead salad maker, and head of our pastry department,
enjoyed the salad immensely, as did Troubadour Paris Bingo,
a vegan.
I liked the serloin as well; however, would like to recommend Brandt
Beef, and its local outlet Hamilton Meats, a local purveyor as my meat of choice.
I found the greens in the salad delightful.
I highly recommend our local organic farmers for your source of greens.
You can meet many of them, Including JR Rodriguez Jr. at the Hillcrest
Farmers" market, at the DMV on Lincoln and Normal, 9 AM-1 PM on Sundays.
The Rdriguez Family offers six kinds
of lettuce that would be, I am sure highly appreciated by your clientele.
There are also many other locally grown vegetables I would suggest
for your delightful salad.
I would like to guide your lead chef on a personal tour of the local
HIllcrest Farmers' Market at his convenience, and would be glad to
introduce him to the local organic farmers. Feel free to contact
me at your convenience.
I thoroughly enjoyed Monday night entertainment led by
Julio de la Huerta in the Plaza Bar. I was invited to read a few of my love poems,
and will be recommending the Westtgate to my many international
associates in the Enchanted Garden Club.
Wishing you a wonderful holiday season,
Leslie Goldman

"A magic day he passed my way and while we spoke
of many things Fools and Kings, this he said to me,
'The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be
loved in return.' " -- "Nature Boy," written by eden
ahbez, recorded by Nat King Cole
in 1947.
"Do you remember, a lifetime ago,
when Nat King Cole had a hit song
called "Nature Boy"? It told about
"a strange, enchanted boy"
who wandered far, very far,
and when he met you,
he taught you many things.
I've met that boy,
or someone very much like him,
and he is now a man known as
"The Enchanted Gardener..."
I may never be the same."
