Natural Ice cream Recipes,
Lemon Grass Coconut Ice Cream
Makes 1-1/2 quarts
1-1/2 cups cream
1 cup milk
1-1/4 cups coconut milk
1 stalk lemon grass, finely sliced
6 large kaffir lime leaves
1/2 cup fresh ginger, finely sliced
3 tablespoons powdered milk
3/4 cup sugar
8 egg yolks
In a saucepan, combine cream, milk, coconut milk, lemon grass, ginger and kaffir lime leaves. Whisk in the powdered milk. Bring mixture to a boil. Remove from heat, cool and allow to and steep overnight. Strain.
Bring the mixture to a boil.
Meanwhile, whisk the sugar with the egg yolks until smooth.

The Army has revised its policy on tattoos
The Army has revised its policy on tattoos in an effort to bolster recruitment of highly-qualified individuals who might otherwise have been excluded from joining.
Tattoos are now permitted on the hands and back of the neck if they are not “extremist, indecent, sexist or racist.” Army Regulation 670-1, which was modified via a message released Jan. 25, also now specifies: “Any tattoo or brand anywhere on the head or face is prohibited except for permanent make-up.”

Yield: 6 burgers
3/4 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 cup textured soy protein granules
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup whole wheat fiour
1/2 pound firm tofu, mashed
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

HI everyone, I am an ex new yawker, artsist, vegetarian, Guy who has enough degrees to be a thermometer....I grew up on the streets of the Bronx in Little Italy, Yes, there is a Lil Italia in the Bronx.
I have lived all around the world. I cannot pick a favorite place, so do not ask. The worse place? Kalamazoo, Michigan, without a doubt, it is a dirty, cold, very segregated town.
