Successful Day Seven 10 y
Amazed
I am amazed at how well I am doing. I am not quite as tired as I was yesterday. Yesterday was probably the most challenging day of the fast so far. There are now only three days left. I can’t wait.
I weighed myself again today. What a pleasant surprise to discover that I have dropped another five pounds. That makes ten pounds of the thirty pound goal attained. :)

Very Tired and Very Thankful
I was very tired today, but still no worse symptoms are appearing. I am so thankful for this. I had visions of nausea and pain by this time. I am not even feeling light headed when I get up from bed which is really a miracle. I usually have to sit on the side of the bed for a while upon arising to get my bearings this far into a water fast. It’s amazing how each fast can be so different from previous ones. It's Half Over
I’m now over the hump. I actually had more energy today than yesterday which really surprised me. I thought each day now things would get worse as far as energy etc. I still have not felt any symptoms yet as far as nausea, aches etc.. It sure feels good to be in day six. Hunger and food cravings are also very minimal which also surprises me. Over all, I am doing much better than I expected. visit the page

Almost to the Halfway Mark
It sure feels good to be in day five. When this fifth day is completed I will have finished the halfway mark if I make it for the ten days. Day four went well. I am starting to lose a little more energy and find that I need more rest. Other than that, I’m doing great. I wonder how long I will be able to go before major detox symptoms start. I am really surprised that I have not been bothered by major hunger and food cravings. They have only been slight. They come for a short time and leave. The third day of my water-only fast has come to a close with success. :) I am really surprised that I am not having more cravings and feelings of hunger. I feel about the same as I did yesterday, just a little more tired than usual. I am so hoping that I will be able to do at least ten days of water-only. Fly Time Fly
I have now completed the second day of my water fast. I am doing well. I am starting to feel more tired than usual. Food cravings and feelings of hunger were minimal. I can’t wait for day ten to arrive. I am now in day three and the time has gone by fast. I am hoping that the time will fly to day ten. I am hoping that I will make it for that long. visit the page

Smooth Sailing Day
Day one of my water fast has completed with success. I felt hungry at times, but it lifted. I had plenty of energy. I was not bothered by food cravings. I don’t know how that happened at this stage of the game. Maybe it’s because I have been really busy. My mind has been on other things. Yes, sometimes I do think about things other than food. ;) I have been wondering how long I will be able to go. I really would like to make it for at least ten days. visit the page

Bringing Some Action to the Table
I have been lazy about writing in my blog. Maybe it’s because I don’t have anything exciting to say. If I would have been following a strict diet I may have felt more like writing about it. I have been pretty much on regular food during my absence. No, I have not been pigging out. I have been trying to eat light. I weighed myself this morning. I am still down the five pounds even after eating regular food for several days.

I was going to water fast all day, but I decided to have some juice this evening. After the juice I was still pretty hungry so I decided to have some pecans. They were in my refrigerator calling my name. The pecans satisfied me. I am satisfied with my day. It must have had a positive effect on my weight. visit the page

Twenty-second Day through Twenty-fourth Day
I bought my large salad. I only ate half of it. It is really hot here so I had some ice cream, sherbet and coke too. I thought a hot day (almost 100 F) would make a great excuse to have a little fun. I know I’ll get where I am going, but I have to have a little fun along the way too. :) Just so you know, with all the fun I’ve been having lately, I’m still five pounds down. I weighed today.

Today went much better. I ate my one large salad and that is all. I can tell this is going to be a long journey. I have lost approximately five pounds so far. It’s nothing to write home about, but it is progress. I know that I could get it off faster if I were on a strict diet, however, I know myself well enough to know that I would never stick to a strict diet long enough to lose the weight. Fifteenth Day
Today I ate a large salad. I also had coke and two muffins. It was not a perfect day. I will allow myself such days. It’s no reason to give up completely. That would be foolish. I’m not going to lose this battle over a coke. No coke is going to discourage me. I will lose this thirty pounds. I feel like I may be coming down with a cold or something. I think that is why I was craving the coke. I really don’t know.
