You’ve used the Law of Attraction, you’ve done your
affirming, set your goals, and a score of other techniques
and methods.
But something still isn’t happening...

NLP & Lucid Dreamimg 19 y
Oh and how the Universe Loves, once you find your flow...Yesterday I told you I had a message to watch my dreams (too bad I rarely remember dreams, eh?) and today, an e-mail from hypno success on lucid dreaming..everything I need is delivered to me on a gold and silver platter...Lucid dreaming is said to speed karmic processing. This is my next undertaking..I remember Carlos Castenada described how to see your own hand in a dream-then to visualize your whole self- Access Universal Mind with the 3rd eye-Anyone want to take this on with me? We can compare notes!
Greetings Friends & Subscribers!
Have you ever wondered what lucid dreaming is?
I think that lucid dreaming is when you are actually
conscious and aware that while you are dreaming. If
you do this, then you can actually direct the outcomes
of your dreams. Interesting, isn’t it?
But . . . why would you want to be conscious while
dreaming? you might ask. When I first heard about it,
I thought to myself -- that could be fun . . . but it
probably doesn’t have any useful effects that I could
use to improve myself or my life.
Boy was I wrong!
After thinking about it for a ... read more

Giving & Receiving 19 y
This is one I am working on. I do know how to give, but my receiving is not good. I tend to look to see "where the catch is". And the only catch is that I am in the flow of universal goodness and it's high time I realized it!-Florence Scovel Shinn
openness
”Giving opens the way for receiving.”
-Florence Scovel Shinn
We open up space in our lives when we give. And that space is filled with exactly what we need at the time. Giving without expectation creates a positive energy, it opens up a flow that allows us to accept what comes to us.

Well, why pay taxes if there are no services to save our Butts in emergencies?
Last week in this section, I asked the question:
’How can I show true compassion for the victims of Katrina?’ Here are the results you gave us, in order of importance, along with some representative responses. The trends in your responses were very clear!

3. Send my tithe to a reputable help organization. - (48.2%)

Reframing 19 y
In my experience this is a second by second job!
No, this is not instruction on how to build your house again. Reframing is a term that implies the ability to see things, problems, situations or people in new ways. To imagine a computer keyboard with a new layout is to reframe the expected. To travel in England and experience driving on the ”wrong” side of the road, is to reframe our normal experience. To conceive of one’s life with no desire for retirement is to reframe our normal way of thinking. There is a story of the Peruvian Indians who, seeing the sails of their Spanish invaders coming in from the sea, attributed it to a mirage or ... read more

Common Questions about Science
and ”Alternative” Health Methods
Gregory L. Smith
The scientific method is a set of tools for thinking about and investigating the natural world. Scientists make hypotheses about how the world works and then conduct experiments to test them. To be testable, hypotheses must be falsifiable. That is, it must be possible to design tests that can either support them or refute them.
Q. What does that have to do with health?
A. The scientific community seeks to test the validity of ideas about the nature and treatment of disease. Judgments are based on the ... read more
Riddle of Sphinx 19 y
My Riddle is beginning to delight me! The Sphinx's has His own!
I am part of a team giving the Ancient Mystery Experiential method of training on the 12 Archetypes. Honey, talk about where the WIld Things Are..each month of the year we devote to an Archetype-this week we begin with the Innocent and what will unearth is the shadow side of the Innocent- this is one of my favorite Archetypes.
Riddle of the Sphinx
Our logo, above, was inspired by the Riddle of the Sphinx (below). Legend has it that Oedipus was made King by solving the riddle! Often when we see the answer to a difficult riddle, we say ”Of course! I should have seen that”. A simple answer to what seems to be a complex problem.
The following essay is from Sir Francis Bacon’s ( 1561 - 1626 ) Wisdom of the Ancients.
The Sphinx
Sphinx, says the story, was a monster combining many shapes in one. She had the face and voice of a virgin, the wings of a bird, the claws of a griffin. She dwelt on the ridge of ... read more
Psychedelics, anyone? 19 y
Well it was one of my favorites, way back when- and let's face it -it was developed for just what they are now rediscovering!
Many of the other banned psychedelic or empathogenic drugs are being looked at again as potent treatments for psychological and addictive problems. When the drugs were made illegal in the 1960’s most of the reseach was stopped.
Britain’s New Scientist magazine has an excellent article on this new research:
John Halpern clearly remembers what made him change his mind about psychedelic drugs. It was the early 1990s and the young medical student at a hospital in Brooklyn, New York, was getting frustrated that he could not do more to help the alcoholics and addicts in his care. He sounde ... read more
Reliability 19 y
It's an old One...this being reliable to make others lives smoother
reliability
”In helping others, we shall help ourselves, for whatever good we give out completes the circle and comes back to us.”
-Flora Edwards
Our topic this week is reliability. Reliability means the ability to be relied upon. When we’re talking about appliances, that’s easy to understand. Flip the switch and if it does what it’s supposed to do, it’s reliable. With people it’s not that different. To be reliable means that we do what we say we’re going to do. Our words carry weight because we have proven through our past actions and behaviors that people can count on us.

New Wurrly Words! 19 y
I love words. Aligning word and deed is akin to aliging the structural system of the body. And aliging the body with the heart's desire produces spiritual alignment for good energy flow! Good for the soul...It's a good thing to be clear about what and who you are...This does not mean you cannot change your mind or word it means that while you are engaging with other humans you give them what it is you say you will. "Being Your Word" reduces most of the nonsense that develops in human relationships. It aligns your purpose and manifests your will through words and deeds. And if for some unforseen reason you cannot live up to your word, then you have the great learning pleasure of cleaning it up with those you have reneged on.
Here's the fun part..
Words That Don’t Exist, But Really Should...
1. AQUADEXTROUS - Possessing the ability to turn the bathroom faucet on and
off with your toes.
2. CARPERPETUATION - The act, when vacuuming, of running over a string or a
piece of lint at least a dozen times, reaching over and picking it up,
examining it, then putting it back down to give the vacuum one more chance.
3. DISCONFECT - To sterilize the piece of candy you dropped on the floor by
blowing on it, assuming this will somehow ’remove’ all the germs.
4. ELBONICS - The actions of two people maneuvering for one armrest in a

Quotes-Compassion 19 y
I LOVE quotes, the pithier the more I love them, the shorter the better, I am a sucker for wit, and a well expressed turn of a phrase...(eh D?)
Quotes - Compassion
’There is no more noble occupation in the world than to assist another human being’
’You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.’ -- Woodrow Wilson
’Treat every person with kindness and respect, even those who are rude to you. Remember that you show compassion to others not because of who they are but because of who you are.’--Andrew T. Somers
