TO CHANGE THE FORM Of THINGS START WITH THE MIND
By Donna Amrita Davidge
”The mind is given as a tool to you. Mind is not master. Mind was given to you to serve you. You develop all other facilities of the world- electric instruments, cars, air conditioners- but the biggest computer you have is your mind. You never developed it”
So said Yogi Bhajan, who was the leader of the Kundalini Yoga movement in the US, in Feb 1978.
In the 35 years he was in the United States (he passed away October 6, 2004) he proved the power of what one mind could do and taught this idea of self-reli ... read more

If this is too challenging, pump once per Wahe Guru for a total of 16 pumps. Unblock the right nostril. Fed Budget Morality 19 y
Too Late to put a say in - but not too late to attach your intention to the heart of this document. In the 60's we were going to change the world- and to some degree we who incarnated in that time frame had that as a passion- many of us still do- but were disenchanted by our lackluster results- All the greed and corruption in the corporate arena was disheartening- EXCEPT when it is looked at from this perspective- this is what it will take to generate change- just this type on nonsense..There is a world that operates with care for others and it is HERE and NOW- One just has to find the like minded, tap into the space..so to speak- this makes me happy..
Religious Community on Morality of the Federal Budget
Sixty prominent members of the religious community...from churches and synagogues, leading seminaries and organizations... have thusfar signed the document below. From Center for American Progress....

Dear Member of Congress,
We are leaders of America’s religious community and citizens of this great country. Our faith traditions teach us that every person is created in God’s image and that we are all part of God’s family. We are called by God to care for each other, both individually and as a nation.

Yoga of Jung Soul
II 19 y
I split this up it is way too long to read on a computer screen in one sit.....for you who've read it I apologize
Here we get a few more clues about what is involved in this dialectical relationship between the ego, which Jung understood to be the conscious personality, and the unconscious, which includes everything of which the ego is unaware. It is not meant to be an either/or relationship, where the goal is to determine a winner and a loser. If either one is injured, or attempts to rule, the whole personality loses. Both are legitimate aspects of life. This does not mean there will be no tension between them. Both have their parts to play, both have their unique vantage points to communicate. But i ... read more

Individuation: The Process of a Lifetime
Whenever I am asked to speak about dreams or Jungian analysis or anything related to analytical psychology, I find myself feeling compelled to say at least a few words about the process referred to as individuation, in order to put all these other things in context. For the process of individuation is the vessel, the container within which all other things rise and fall, ebb and flow - including our dreams and fantasies, our aspirations and sense of vocation, our ventures and wrong turnings. The process of individuation is the archetypal soup i ... read more
Breathwork 4 Depression 19 y
This woman got off Wellbutrin by getting proficient in Sodashan breathwork.
Sodarshan Testimonial
After a lifetime battling depression and 1-1/2 yrs on Wellbutrin (which has
been a godsend until my body had a better way of managing life), practicing
Sodarshan Chakra Kriya daily for 90 days turned things around for me. At
first I would shake terribly (but still did 16 full rounds of three stomach
pumps while mentally saying Wahe Guru, not reducing the count). The shakes
led to some sweats, erratic thoughts and sometimes took a bit to recover
from. I began with 3 min, worked up to seven then stayed at 11. On days
things were hectic and I had no privacy ... read more

2) Kirtan kriya with left hand on heart, and right hand, palm forward by
shoulder (like
taking an oath.) Connect fingertips as in kirtan kriya. Whether or not to
chant loud,
whisper or silent wasn’t specified. I just did it as I felt. Be sure to use

Kitcheree/Mung beans 19 y
Mung Beans and rice- The old stand by for Ky practitioners-easy on the system and treats systemic disease-see additives
MUNG BEANS AND RICE
also known as Kitcheree
This is a perfect pre-digested food. It is easy on the digestive system
and very nourishing. There is a story of a great sage who would
prescribe this food to many who came to him for healing whether it was
mental, spiritual or physical. Forty days later the issue was often
resolved. The trinity root (onion, garlic and ginger) is incredibly
”life-giving” and coupled with a yogic practice will increase Ojas, the
subtle glue that holds together mind, body and soul. ”You’ll be seeing God”

Sodarshan Chakra Kriya Meditation
12/12/90 Italy, 8/91 Espanola, NM
By Yogi Bhajan, PhD
”Of all the 20 types of yoga, including Kundalini Yoga, this is the highest kriya. This meditation cuts all darkness. It will give you a new start. It is the simplest kriya, but at the same time the hardest. It cuts through all barriers of the neurotic or psychotic inside-nature. When a person is in a very bad state, techniques imposed from the outside will not work. The pressure has to be stimulated from within. Tragedy of life is when subconscious releases garbage into the conscio ... read more
Why 4am? 19 y
Here is the point and on point of Amrit Vela and it's connection to change Sadhana
Question: what if you live in a place that 4am is NOT within 2 hours to sunrise?
I used to live Fairbanks, Alaska. On the shortest day of the year
the sun rose at 10:30 am and set at 1:30 (AND and the temp hovers around
-45 to -56 degrees during a cold snap). The different guidelines we
have about the Amrit Vela beginning ”2 1/2 hours before sunrise” or
”during the last quarter of the night” just can’t apply no matter how
much we wish they did. The part about the angle between sun and earth
being 60 degrees at the right time would have to apply in this case and
that happens at 4 ... read more
Seva-service 19 y
Janaki here is one of my favorite sanskrit words Seva- selfless service on this beautiful Thanks Giving day
the good cause
”The best servant does his work unseen.”
-Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr. (1809-1984)
Seva is a Sanskrit word which means self-less service. This is serving without condition, without expectation of recognition or reciprocation. This is the most pure form of service. When we give of ourselves, with all of our heart, just for the sake of giving, this is when we do the most good.
