Yup, just like clockwork, the erstwhile lawnman called me Monday afternoon. Albeit I do not trust him anymore, and am not sure that can change, I am open to him trying to finish up his work from last week. Some of it I finished, but he offered to dig up the expired lilac bush, and repair the sagging storm gutters in addition to cleaning up the gathered piles of tree limbs and such.
I did so enjoy watering the surviving lilac bushes over the weekend, and plan to either get a few more lilac bushes planted, or talk to the neighbors who "own" or have easement to the front 10 feet of my "property" about a box garden with mixed herbs and flowers in front of my fence where the lilacs are now.
Sure, if I'm ever in San Diego, I'll stop by.
