Hey, I did my first fast at the end of May. I did 24 days of vegetable/fruit fasting with some days of master cleanse. My juicer broke and I had no option but to do master cleanse. When it broke I was already 1 and a half weeks into jucing and thought that I would drink V8 until my new juicer came in....WRONG ANSWER! I will never be able to drink V8 again after having real fresh juice. V8 tasted so dead and bad. I tried to make myself drink it, but it was making me sick. There is so many perservatives they should call it VP for V PUKE! lol, I think the master clease worked very good though for just that short period, so when you get out of hunger stage (after like 5 days) then try to do a master cleanse 2 times a day. I even did the master cleanse in between my juicings for the remainder of days.

I started at 214 and made it down to 188. I went on a second juice fast 28 days after my first one ended and made it 4 days. I am battling with alcohol so I have to take care of that before juicing again. I am on day 4 of sobriety and look forward to at least 24 days of it. I made it 24 days without food, so I better make it 24 days without alcohol. It is sad to say, but my mind tells me I need alcohol more than I need food. I drank alcohol every 3 - 5 days on my fast and it really didn't effect it in any way. I actually had less of a hangover in the morning from pumping so many good nutrients in me. The weightloss was the last thing on my mind because I was doing it for health reasons, not weight. But when I lost about 26 lbs, I felt so good.

Just make yourself do it and drink lots when you get hungry or even before. It will go away. I got really hungry from drinking the master cleanse and leaving pulp in the drink. Make sure all pulp is gone so your body won't start digesting again. This is what makes you very hungry. Got to turn all that stuff off and keep it asleep:)
