Great blogging too...ggg. I really enjoyed reading in sequence, of your adventure and of your goals and especially *feeling* your enthusiasm!
I especially laughed out loud reading of your pre-Master Cleanse experiences. So many do not even consider those *options* and if you do some of that big stuff, then the cleanse itself goes so much smoother. I can only imagine with your parasite load that when the food wagon had stopped, your little freeloaders would have gone beserk if you had not gone in with your eviction notices....
It is easy to imagine you hovering in the throne room with your magnifying glass peering into the throne and stifling gasps of ---?? Have you regaled friends and family with your success stories?? That is always a hoot...most going into denial but for those who have been wondering how to make some improvements in their health, stories of success are like a trickle of water in the desert!
I have always been at risk for parasites since I love water and mud and trotting barefoot and so do the parasite cleansing regularly, as well, zapping. You can expect to want to keep that up. I dont look at sushi the same either since it also carries flukes....
Your liver flush experience was equally entertaining in the reading and will really help minimize the discomfort that you may have felt after years of *stone* collecting. I was also interested in Telman's addition of tumeric and ginger and will have to seek out that recipe since I am just a week away from my post-fast flushes. I do not love liver flushing but do feel it is one of the most important of body maintenance protocols and so I am in love with how it makes me feel afterward. Congrats on such a great flush!!
I venture, Grasshopper, that you are hooked now on good body maintenance practices and rediscovering some of your old favorite ones like sunbathing. The sun helps activate the vitamin C in the lemonade and laying out is so healing. I cannot do an hour where I am in Texas since I would resemble a lobster by then with most days being in the 90's but if I get in a good half hour I am energized and feel a sublime sense of having harnessed some solar treasure....a gift of nature....
Have you given skinbrushing a try yet??
Also glad to hear/read you ordered some of the good cayenne. I have fallen in love with cayenne and its potential to help me with my own healing work. Do not feel bad if you have to go back to your 1/4th tsp of cayenne when you get that 90,000 HU stuff. You can probably work up to a higher amount again although I did find that the pepper may have contributed a little to the bum burn. I was pretty much past the acidic BMs but wow, did it ever loosen the mucous and other strange things that I doubt would have loosened up if it had not been for Detour's encouragement. He is a wild and adventuresome sort however so I appreciated the challenge...ggg....and have lived to tell of it.
Thank you too for sharing some of your own life adventure...and the gems of wisdom you have picked up along the way. I really appreciate that more people are blogging their Master Cleanse experiences since so often we are not able to read of their journey as it weaves through the forum as easily as coming to the bloggers portal and scrolling through your blog and reflecting on your fasting experience.
I look forward to reading of the rest of your journey. I do not remember how long you were going to go for, if you even wrote it. With your detoxing well on its way, you may not experience the detox symptoms in the same order as others who have not done the level of pre-cleanse work you did. My tongue waited a couple of weeks to *fur* over. I did a long cleanse last fall and then went into a series of cleanses and maintenance and so amazingly this cleanse was really more about going deeper and of course, for me, more of a spiritual reflection and reconnecting with that quiet, powerful place, where my healing comes as easily as the breath. I hope with your history of meditation and martial arts, you will also connect with your power and reap even more, the benefits this cleanse has to offer....
Thanks very much for sharing and keeping us all motivated and inspired!
blessings,
Zoe
