Be very careful here... fasting is a good way to cleanse your body, but if you put alcohol in, you're really throwing off all the careful detox balance you've created. That puts you in a position where you're just not eating, which makes the effects of the alcohol hit you harder.
Obviously, having the effects of the thing you're trying to quit hit you harder is probably a step in the wrong direction for your usage issues.
